Do I look like goddamn Oprah, Dick? I don't wan't a $2,000 bottle of wine, especially one that I don't even know what it tastes like. Good trick though, I actually wrote it down and was going to ask the guy at the liquor store if he carried it.
Never mind you're not worth it.

Yeah, they do and up until a few years ago we had a blue law (I think it's called). If we wanted booze on Sunday we had to drive to a neighboring state. While I can't see Russia from my house, I can see Maryland from the stable.

We still have that law. I can see Ohio...that's probably not something to brag about though.

Clos du bois Chardonnay is really good. Not too sweet or too dry. It's about $14 a bottle and you can get it at most grocery stores (at least here on the west coast). 13.5% alcohol; so good for a nice functional little buzz after just a couple of glasses, but a solid big buzz if you have the time and opportunity to consume the whole bottle. No headache the next day, in my experience.

Now that was a kick ass wine recommendation. You hit all the high points and gave good information.
Some jealous cunt will call me a kissass now for enjoying your clever post. Ignore them. Change of life, I think.

The wing recipe Sally posted several months back was easy and stellar and I posted a thanks, ass kisser that I am, I meant it. I usually show up at parties with Ruffles and ranch dip or Fritos and bean dip. When I showed up with a crock pot and spicy wings, my friends downed them on the spot. I had a Paula Dean moment and enjoyed it. Give me some recommendations for good easy food or good wine that gets the job done and I'm gonna issue a thanks. Ass kisser, meh. Simple pleasures...

Careful. I just nailed her in two different threads. She will be quoting literature next because she thinks we don't read...
