The annual salary for a teacher here is over $51,000. I went to school for early chidlhood development but found I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would, hence the reason I'm not a teacher, I didn't think it would be fair to the children to have a teacher that didn't like her job. And if you're a teacher, you need to LOVE what you do or you're a shitty teacher.

No, just smart enough to know that when you are responsible for teaching small children, but you just don't want to, you just don't enjoy it, then you're doing them no good. I didn't want to be "that" teacher.
