He works at a SAFEWAY and was arrested for supposely assaulting women in 2009 in a SAFEWAY parking lot but never prosecuted. If he had been then Sierra would have been safe. Thankfully they had his DNA. Sadly as in the movie- "law abiding citizen" the suspect has more rights than the victim.

Id' love to know the details of the assaults. Not in the least surprised he wasn't charged. Disgusted but not surprised. He probably would have been roaming the streets, though, anyway.

Santa Clara County Sheriff Laurie Smith said Antolin Garcia-Torres, who is being held in connection with the disappearance of LaMar, may be connected with at least one of three other 2009 assaults involving a Taser in a Morgan Hill Safeway parking lot. His DNA was in the system because of a 2009 felony assault, for which he was arrested, but never prosecuted for reasons unclear. so it could have just been a reluctant witness, scared or just didn't want to go to trial, it sucks that whatever the reason, this might have been avoided. I have seen his arrest photo and the artist sketch from the wanted poster posted side by side at another site and the artist was spot on. It's a bummer that in 2009, detectives may not have compared the sketch artist photo to safe-way employees, it would have been known immediately it was AGT.

The "wife" is 19, and has a child....plus he has several arrests of assault on other women. Wonder if she is/was one of them??!! It states they found DNA in his car, was it blood or another form a DNA? Love to hear his story of how it got there!

Prosecutor says they can prove murder even without Sierra's body. They must have a hell of alot of evidence.

Did anyone save the conversation containing the suspects wifes comments about sierra? The link no longer works.
Sidenote... all of these cases of young girls being abducted really scare me... it seems that things like this keep happening more and more frequently. Im 23 years old and i dont even like to stay at my house by myself.

Not so much at home alone but on the occasion that i'm walking to my car in parking lots or garages, especially at night. Lol also sometimes if i have to run to the atm or something at night i have my german shepherd ride shotgun

Ha ya i'm a youngin! I've always tried to be as aware of my surroundings as possible. My mom being a police officer she kind of pounded that into our heads while we were little. Try to keep myself out of iffy situations. Only buy weed from people i know and trust lol.
