It wasn't for lack of trying. I was the HR director and a partner and he still made lewd comments towards me. I told the managing partner many times that he was a sexual harassment suit waiting to happen. He finally severed the partnership and apparently all during that time the guy was making trips overseas to bang young girls.
Maybe I WAS too old for him. Blurg.

He was a creepy bastard. Feel badly for the girls but the vision of this formerly very wealthy Ph.D. "soccer dad" behind bars in some filthy foreign prison pleases me no end.
Holy Crap! Sounds like it didn't surprise you...did he get busted on one of those sick sex tourist trips?

I like the business, the work is cool and I am good at it, I inspire a lot of confidence in my clients and will be taking work away from my competition again, all good.
Awesome

Also Awesome.
I like my job. If you like your job, you never have to work a day in your life.

Do I like my job? Hmm, today might not be the best day to ask me that.

Which is why most folks work almost everyday of their lives.

I'm grateful to have a job in this awful economy, but I don't exactly love it. I do A/R for a manufacturing company. It's a boring desk job. I enjoy about 15% of my coworkers. It's not what I had imagined myself doing for the rest of my life, even though I really have no idea what else I could/should be doing. I have a bachelor's degree in economics and student loans to show for it! However, I have my husband talked into letting me go part time when/if I get pregnant again!

I too am grateful I have a decent job. And no, this is NOT what I imagined doing for the rest of my life. I have become very cynical in this job. I would own/run a bookstore if I could do anything I wanted and money was of no consequence. Or work at the library.

I am also grateful to have a job. Working in insurance sure makes one want to drink heavily at night though
.
If I could make it for a couple of years, I would sell my Pink Zebra Sprinkles (please don't laugh, my Sprinkles are for real
--soy based AMERICAN grown home fragrances) and bring in the big checks like my upline does--- 4 figures a month!
