I saw an article stating that she called in about something on the boy's Facebook during the course of the investigation, but not whether that was before or after the vigil and reward announcement. It may not have been a factor for her and she may not get anything either way, but I'm curious about how all of this unfolded and whether Autumn knew the boys.

I love the colored text innuendo!!!! I thought the same thing when I saw her last name. Being an Italian from New England myself, I can assure you that even if we are not mobbed up.........we all have FRIENDS. Usually the kind of friends who can make sure your commissary account is full in prison if you take care of issues on the inside. And while having money to buy snacks/toiletries may not seem like enough of an incentive to you and I, to a lifer with nothing to lose.....it's worth it ten times over.

Small town...

The perps are said to have been in plain sight during the intense search for Autumn. They both also attended the vigil on Monday night where the community prayed for Autumn's return.

One neighbor indicates she attended school with Autumn's father and the perps' mother, and that Autumn's father used to be a mailman for their area.

The boys are expected in court for detention hearings Friday.

Some Facts about this case.

Autumn was a avid BMX biker, she would ride at the skate parks, etc.
These brothers were known thieves of bikes, trade them for other stuff.
The mother will NOT get the money, several reasons why. SHE did not call and report them or turn them in. The house was A TARGET FROM DAY ONE.
One of the brothers posted a picture of Autumn's Ipod trying to sell in on Facebook.
A person at the vigil advised the cops, and they went right to the home. THE MOTHER would not allow them to question the kids, or walk through the home.
While the police were on the scene they blood hounds caught her scent, and trailed it to the recycling bin where she was put.
The SCUM of a mother only asked about the reward money AFTER her sons were arrested.
Autumn was lured to the home under the impression she was trading bike parts.
The brother kept her body in the basement until the vigil, where they moved the body to the bin which was to be picked up the next day.
They moved the bin to out front of their neighbors house.
The boys were taken into custody as the body was being recovered in the early hours of the morning.
They found several items in the home of Autumn's.

This is all I have right now. I hope that whoever lived in that house gets hindering, they knew this happened the night of the vigil. Grandfather and the mother.

Latest reports say the prosecutors office is considering trying them as adults.

I just read this in a new article:

A spokesman for the family, Paul Spadafora, who was Autumn’s great-uncle, said, “We’re asking the attorney general to investigate (Gloucester County Prosecutor) Sean Dalton’s Office on protocol.”

“He called it swift justice,” Spadafora said. “We’re asking for a swifter response.”

He added, “At 12 years old, they could have done something better and quicker.”

If feel terribly for Autumn's family, but Amber Alert criteria wasn't met and I think authorities and the community acted very quickly on this one. By the time anyone realized that Autumn was missing, she was already dead at the hands of people known to her, in a confined space, and no one knew she was going there (to the best of our knowledge at this time).

Not sure what anyone could have done better. No one to blame but the perps, imo.

Her funeral is on Saturday.
