What a fucked up world we live in. Their mother is a piece of shit! If she did not know the girl was in her home dead, why would she not let LE in her home. What was she hiding?

We've only heard the first version of events that's been released. We all know those sometimes change and I suspect there's more to the story; jmo.

I've read conflicting reports about whether the boys' mom actually called police and let them in the house, or whether it was someone at the vigil that directed LE to the house and then their mom refused ot let them in and claimed that she didn't live there anymore. One thing that's been consistently reported: there were stolen bike parts in the house and one of the boys had been detained before.

I agree that this is a fucked up tragedy, no matter what exactly went down in that house and why.

I don't say this rudely...

...if the cops came to my house & wanted to come in and look around they are going to show me a warrant first. I don't care what they are looking for, they are not coming in unless I am compelled to let them.

I understand your position. It's an important right that we have and for good reason.

I'm not sure how I would handle it myself. If the request was in regards to a missing child and I had nothing to hide, I'd probably let them in to do a cursory search for the child, but quickly stash a few things outta sight first.

This was published today in Huffington Post:

An apparent Facebook exchange has surfaced between 12-year-old murder victim Autumn Pasquale and one of her alleged killers.

The exchange, which took place four days before the Clayton, N.J. girl disappeared, was initiated by Pasquale after one of the suspects posted a photo of a BMX bike on his Facebook page. The photo and the subsequent exchange were initially accessible to the public, but have since been removed from public view.

[Pasquale:] "Is that ur bike?"
[Boy:] "Yeupp"
[Pasquale:] "Thts sexy!"
[Boy:] "lol thxx ... cme 2 my house."

The article doesn't say if this was the Facebook exchange that allegedly made the boys' mother suspicious.

I'm curious to learn what Autumn's last text was about and who it was sent to, though LE says it didn't imply that she was in danger (sent at around 2 pm the day she went missing).

I agree, it is one right we still have. IF they wanted in because of a murder and there are 2 joints in the drawer, i would make them get a warrant too.

more supposed facebook interaction:

And just hours before Autumn’s body was found late Monday, Robinson apparently posted a single name on the Facebook wall of the girl’s older brother.

"Autumn," was all he wrote.

"What bout her?" A.J. Pasquale asked.

"why post her name then nothing else?" added a woman who called herself "Ann Rush."

In response, Robinson then wrote: "It was an accident the cop waz here & my brother did it," according to a copy of the Facebook post.

It remains unclear whether Robinson was referring to the word "autumn" he posted on Pasquale’s wall or, more chillingly, the crime itself.

A couple of joints in a drawer doesn't concern me in the least. My comment speaks to the principal of having a warrant to enter my home. I feel the same way in regards to having a lawyer by my side if I were compelled to speak to LEO's. Guilt or innocence is not a factor in my opinion.

The principle is that unless one gives permission, LE can't enter one's home without a warrant. If LE were looking for stolen property, I might make them get a warrant.

But if a neighborhood child was missing, I'd let police in so they could quickly clear my home and move on with the investigation.

Oh my.........................

As much as I respect the views on "consent" to search, there are other avenues in which LE can search YOUR HOME. But these fall under certain pretenses. I think it would be advisable that you make it VERY CLEAR you do not want your home searched "I do not consent!!!", because you may be hiding those big dildos somewhere.

Here are a few ways, well actually proven ways that your home can be searched without the need of a warrant.

Thank you Supreme Court! Blowing-kisses

If the cops wanted to search my house, I would be okay with it. If they have never seen a big dildo before, that's their problem as far as I am concerned. Sign_pervert

My feelings remain unchanged, they want to come on my property they are getting a warrant. I feel argumentative about this.

There are numerous loopholes in any law. Search and seizure is the best example of where the scales of justice can go either way when someone knows exactly what they are doing.

If law enforcement shows up unannounced for no specific reason, or if I call them; yeah I would be hard pressed to acknowledge “verbal consent” to have my home searched. I would definitely question their intentions because it lacks probable cause. Now that I think about, I don’t think I have ever asked to search anyone’s home. Though I have been invited inside and thought I was going to puke because some people have awful taste or a lack of design.

Can you imagine if a hoarder said “sure, come on in and search!” lmao - FUCK THAT

Autumn Pasquale's Funeral Attended By Hundreds In New Jersey
By KATIE ZEZIMA
THE FULL STORY HERE

I've been to something similar; there truly are no words that can describe the moment, feelings, and overall atmosphere.

"On Saturday, dozens of flower arrangements stood on the church's altar. Two were shaped like a soccer ball; one was a pink and white ice cream cone and another was a bicycle made from white flowers. Autumn's parents and family hugged mourners next to the girl's silver casket. A spray of purple and white flowers lay across it, along with three framed photos of her."

Autumn Pasquale murder: Prosecutor seeks adult court for teen suspects

http://www.nj.com/gloucester-county/inde...osecu.html

The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office said today it will apply to have the two teen boys accused of killing Autumn Pasquale, 12, tried as adults.

The juvenile waiver application will be filed with Superior Court Judge Colleen A. Maier, who presides in the Gloucester County Family Division of the state court, the prosecutor's office announced. Bernie Weisenfeld, spokesman for the office, said they anticipate Judge Maier will schedule a hearing to determine whether waiver will be granted.

Good. Teens should be charged as adults in murder 1 and 2 cases. A murder is not a youthful error in judgment.

Just a "snippet" from the news....

According to CBS Philadelphia, prosecutor Sean Dalton said the gravity of the case warranted the transfer to adult court, where the brothers could face at least 30 years in prison without parole if convicted......

Too bad they are juveniles

I disagree. I don't think a 15 y/o is even remotely an adult. Not to say he shouldn't be wildly punished but he's a kid.

I don't think a juvenile should be given a life sentence without possibility for parole, or a death penalty. Barring that...I think a teenager knows that murder is not ok. 20 years or more in prison...If it were my child who were murdered, I'd think that's the LEAST her murderer could serve.
