My only regret is I didn't get to see Peyton eat some dirt.
In 2 weeks, they will be on our turf.
There were a bunch of games that seem to be "shockers". Andy Reid conservative BS. I didn't see any pressure on Manning all night long.

Oops. Know who else the Chiefs didn't play in their winning streak? The Broncos. Heh.

What the hell was up with that? I didn't see the whole game but I saw enough. Peyton had all the time in the world to make decisions & throw.

Don't feel bad. Guys like Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are superstars for a reason. It's the easiest thing in the world to say "here's how you stop this guy," but the trick is in actually IMPLEMENTING these great plans. You think the Chiefs were the first team this year to study tape and decide pressuring Manning was the best way to go?

I hold Peyton in high regard. I like everything about him. I could hardly believe it when his team let him go. He's as good as he's ever been, maybe even better.

He's definitely a professional football mind through and through. As much as I like what he's done in Denver I fully understand why Indiana got rid of him. They had a shot at continuing for the next 10-15 years with a winning QB in Luck, or squeezing out another season with Manning and his iffy neck. Teams like the Bills or Browns WISH they had those kind of problems.

What do you think the chances are of him going on to coaching when his QB career is over? I've heard it said that Peyton is coaching his team now. I think that speaks to how he prepares for the game and the expectation that he has for his teammates do the same.

How many "winning" teams did the Broncos play before the Chiefs? One, and guess what? They lost.

But the team with a winning record they beat WAS the Chiefs. Scoreboard, sweetie. The Chiefs have had questionable victories and near losses to teams like the Bills. The Broncos beat most of their opponents like redheaded stepchildren.

Indy ' not in our division. KC is. We know who we need to beat. Next week will be a test for Denver at New England, just like this last game was for both Denver and KC. The question for both teams was, how do you hold up against a good team? The answer for Denver was, just fine. For KC, not so much.

You act like they stomped us. They won by 10. We will see what happens in 2 weeks.

This just in: Patriots are 2.5 point dogs at home. Against the Broncos. Saying the Chiefs have a better chance against us at home is like saying a fly has a better chance against a swatter rather than a rolled up newspaper. Might well be true but the ddifference is inconsequential.

PS I fully recognize that by "us" I mean a group of wealthy men protecting even wealthier men, none of whom has ever met me or given me part of their paychecks. I have no vested interest in the outcome of this or any football game. I do, however, really enjoy talking shit heh heh heh.

MS, why did you stop posting your picks?
I kinda looked forward to being argumentative with you every time you did.

Really?
Most people stick by their team through the good and the bad. Where's your loyalty?
And yet...you don't like it when people like other teams from different areas.
That doesn't make any damn sense at all.
Someone should warn your wife...when things don't go your way, you bail.

Wow, you're a clown.
I said stay interested in the season, meaning the rest of the NFL teams.
I still watched my club yesterday (and cheered them on) until it was 38-13.
I've been through thick and thin with the Vikes (since '72).
I don't know if there's a franchise that has landed more gut punches to their fan base anywhere in the NFL.
Don't talk to me about loyalty dumbass.

My girlfriend's teenage son is a diehard Jaguars fan. I'll just let you think about that for a minute while you whine about the Vikings.
Then of course, there's the Buffalo Bills my local friends love and hate, or the Cleveland Browns down the road at heartbreak on the lake.
Your Vikes at least had a few good runs, even if they were a long time ago.
