ESPN ranked NFL franchises a couple of years ago for how they've tortured their fans over the years.

The Browns and Vikings ranked #1 and #2.

The Jags have only been around since '95 or '96, not nearly long enough to qualify as a franchise like Cleve, Minny, Buff or Det.

I do, however, give him props for sticking with his club.

Dominated the NFC during the '70's, but lost all 4 Super Bowl appearances (none of them were close).

Had pretty good teams during the late 80's, including an NFC Title Game appearance against the Skins. Lost 17-10. Skins went on to rout the Broncos 42-10.

The 90's brought Denny Green to town as the head coach. Many playoff appearances, but the loss in the 1998 Championship game against the Falcons will be long remembered as the biggest choke in franchise history.
That team boasted Cris Carter, Randy Moss, Robert Smith, Daunte Culpepper, John Randle, Randall McDaniel, etc.

The Vikes made the NFC Championship game twice in the '00's. Getting embarrassed by the Giants, and losing yet another heartbreaker to the Saints in '09. That game forced league officials to rewrite overtime rules because the Vikes never got a chance to get the ball. Vikes turned it over 5 times, including a botched handoff at the Saints 3 yard line between Favre and Peterson.

Yes, the Vikes have had good teams and good players, but they've never won the big one, and it's tough.

I love my team through thick & thin and we've had a thin couple of years. I've been excited about this season since last January & it's been everything I had hoped it would be in spite of so many people telling me to lower my expectations.

I wouldn't have referred to it as fun yesterday though. I spent the last 10 minutes of the game with my head in my hands muttering & praying like a crazy person.

I love my Chiefs, even though they haven't given us much to love for a few years...until now.

Sometimes teams make it real hard to turn on the tv, or pay the ridiculous prices to attend games...but we do it anyway.

The Pats losing is a good example of why having the home field advantage is soooooo important.

I have a huge dislike for the Patriots, so it's hard for me to be objective when it comes to them.

I heard the 'no-call' at the end of the game was extremely controversial, and you're right, if the game had been in Foxboro it probably would've gone New England's way.

Tom Brady was pissed, he dropped the F-bomb while walking beside the ref off the field.

They're saying Rodgers May make it back for the Thanksgiving game against the Lions, but I'm not sure they'll risk it unless he's very confident.

I also read about a kid born this past week with a broken collar bone. They called him Aaron Rodger. hah

Well we are fucked now. Our two best defensive players were hurt.

Our defense sucked, and our offense actually did well...did hell freeze over?

I told my son when we scored with over a minute left...they just handed the Chargers the win, and that they did.

Even our mascot was hurt this weekend.

Heh...welcome to our world. Whilst we didn't beat MS's team, at least we have the dignity of saying they didn't beat us.

Most teams are filled with injured/beat up players this time of year...except mine. That's because we employ science over tradition. A lot of people scoffed when the Eagles hired a sports science coordinator but it's payed off in a huge way.

I didn't want to have to say this because I think it's unsportsmanlike to make these accusations but almost every team we've played have faked an injury on the field in order to have a few minutes to catch their breath because they can't keep up. I said at the beginning of the season that teams would be huffin' & puffin' trying to keep up and that's been the case with every game. Andy Reid has probably got his guys shoveling bar-b-cue like there's no tomorrow. hah

The Vikes have been shitty this season. No doubt.

However, they've had a late 4th quarter lead (less than 2 minutes to go) in 3 games in which they didn't win.

The defense is ranked 32nd in the league for a reason.

@Duchess. I'll be really curious to see how your squad plays the last 5 games. Foles is not turning the ball over, which is what winning teams do: take care of the football.
