I made a decision this morning after I saw yung ho. If we are going to have the kind of Members that we want, I'm going to have to promote Mock. I haven't done anything like that in a long time, years, actually. So, that's what I did. I told tangible_shadow about Mock and invited him to check us out.

I think that's probably an excellent idea. I would hate for someone I invited to come in only to be ignored or treated like crap because everyone thinks it's just another dick.

Nah, you're not thinking of another board. I think it's great if people want to introduce themselves but I'm not going to be a nag about it if people want to get right into posting in some of the threads. I'm not exactly firm on this but I doubt I'd ever again make people jump through hoops to get in Mock or go through an initiation. That's only how I feel today, I don't see it changing but there's always that chance.

I don't think anyone has been made to do anything like that in a long time and I haven't actively promoted Mock in ages. I told BG about Mock, he wasn't exactly a stranger to me. I saw him other places, same with intangible shadow. If I think someone's sense of humor will fit in here, I am more apt to mention Mock to them. I'm not going to invite just anyone.

Nah, you're not thinking of another board. In today's world there are to many whinny bitch snowflakes that get offended easy, they cannot take a good ribbing and run off in a huff.
