Johnny S. Clarke & Lisa Straub- young Ohio couple murdered
Let's not respond to Maytee's comments.

This is just a thread of people who care that Johnny and Lisa experienced this tragedy and want to see the killers caught and given the death penalty (preferably by slow torture).

Agree, it's not about her.

Not to slam the coroner but, I could have given that exact same answer without even seeing the bodies.

Yes...Vague isn't it....but I put it out there as statements are posted questioning the original and equally vague TOD as 1AM- to 4AM. The more recent "6 hours before being found" actually allows for the possibility of TOD before 11pm and makes speculation of the entire cronology which is based alot on TWs statements come into question. Especially the 11pm impression that LS and JC were alive and on the phone so if someone needs an alibi here it is....If the killer perpetrated the crime between 10-11pm and establishes his where abouts at 11pm. he has an alibi.....thanks to the belief we all all working under...that 11pm phone call.

It is accurate because Lisa was at work until 11pm. Johnny picked her up from work when her shift was over and they went to Lisa's house.

According to Tiffany she was on the phone with Johnny at 11 when all the ruckus went down, are you sure about the time?

the only thing precise about time of death in any case, is that it can never be precise. too many variables.
unless of course they are seen to die.

Here is one place where I read that the time of murder was between 1am and 4am. I just found it strange that 1am was suggested as the earliest time of death, since Tiffany's call was around 11pm. Just seems that the time of death would be estimated as sometime between 11pm-4am, rather than sometime between 1am-4am. Maybe I'm reading too much into this. It seems like I read/heard this several places, because it has stuck with me. This is an article that I found on Fox Toledo.

"Detectives suspect the murders were possibly the result of a robbery gone bad. The couple was murdered sometime between 1-4 a.m., at a home in the 2100 block of Longacre Lane near Pilliod Road, detectives said."

do you think if this was a robbery motive that they did not mean for johnny and lisa to be there? if it was someone they knew or were acquainted with i would think they'd want to enter when johnny and lisa were away to avoid being identified, unless murder was in the plans? (to those of you who will say they may have worn ski masks... there are other ways to ID besides seeing someone's face). unless it was someone they knew that "set them up" and sent people they wouldn't be familiar with???

sorry i'm rambling... it might not make sense as i'm typing as my thoughts come...

I think it's vital to know whether or not the bags came from the Straub residence or were brought in. If they were brought in it is VITAL to know what kind of bags they were, i.e. clear, grocery, garbage sized, etc., in order to try to figure out what the intentions for the bags were.

I think LC's point is that it doesn't matter why this happened, it doesn't matter who did it or how, the DNA and crime scene evidence will be the proof for the convicitions. Correct?

I was reading on one of the other sites the other day, posted by someone like Unknown or Grieving Friend - someone with intimate knowledge of information - that the bags and tape were from Bed Bath & Beyond, and implied that they were brought to the house.

You know Maytee really layed the murders at Lisa's door on a syndicated television show, so she is kind of getting was she sowed!

Lisa Straub - Injustice A major investigation into why and who killed Lisa Straub and Johnny Clarke in Springfield township is underway. Investigators discovered white baggie pieces, a light blue lighter and a Ziploc bag on the kitchen floor. In the home of Lisa Straub on various kitchen countertops a digital scale, two knives and central security documents were found.

The list of collected evidence goes on, including a key with 5-4-4 stamped on it under the body of Lisa Straub. The items were seized -- taken as evidence -- during a search of the home owned by Lisa Straub's parents. Throughout the house, they gathered DNA swabs.

They also found a key with 5-4-4 stamped on it under the body of Lisa Straub. The warrant also describes black/pink interband pants under Straub's neck. Her wrists were taped together, but not her ankles. Johnny Clarke's ankles were taped up.

That's one of many details investigators are trying to sort through in the search for a killer or killers. Johny Clarke has a troubled past including time spent in prison. As prayers go out to the family of Johnny, the family is probaly asking themselves if they could have done something to prevent this. Clarke’s mother certainly has not lived her life as a good example for her son. As speculation surrounds who John Clarke may have told the house’s owners were out of town, one has to wonder, should it also be asked who his mother could have told?

Someone who has to defend their parenting so vehemently must feel guilty inside. Her outrage is almost like a compensation mechanism for how she really feels. I don't know how she can be outraged about her sons death yet wish it on almost everyone she comes in contact with. She has every right to be outraged, but what's with the threats? That makes you no better than them.

I think quite a few people can verify that Lisa's shift was over at 11pm and that is when Johnny picked her up from work. So the Tiffany phone call was more likely 11:15 - 11:30pm.

Maytee is free to have an opinion of us just like we are free to post here.

Personally, I would be honored that a bunch of people who didn't know Johnny personally would care that he died.

While i was making dinner I had to stop to let my dog in...When he came inside he tracked snow all over and that is when I thought about the blood being all over the Straub house. The perps had to have walked in it making footprints. I have read about crimes being solved with the aide of shoeprints. If the killers are young wannabe 'bangers" there would probably be some high class tennis shoe prints. Not boots because the snow had melted away. IMO
