What did you have for breakfast this morning?

Coffee and a cigarette. If I'm diagnosed with lung cancer it will mostly likely be due to cause and effect. Now if I wasn't a smoker and got lung cancer, then that would be a cosmic force punishing me for a bad deed. Or maybe just God working in mysterious ways and taking me to be with him because I'm special. I don't know, I'm all confused now.

I don't believe in reincarnation. I didn't realize karma and reincarnation went hand in hand. i thought karma was purely the reap what you sow deal.

Sometimes, my good friend, you simply ask too many questions. . .

If the end is near that calls for a party. My hovel Saturday night, 7 pm, suits optional, leave the kiddies at home, I'll supply the booze/weed but someone else is going to have to man the grill. See ya then!

You will score points when you actually bring something to the table.

Thus far you've offered nothing but what you identify as "logic" which is nothing more than asking questions and berating the answers without regard to the substance of the answers.

So are you a Christian?

The two outlooks are similar. However with karma if a child is say born with a disability or is molested at an early age then for karma to exist that child must have deserved it.

That's why it also presupposes an infinite and cyclical universe. There can be no begining. Let's say karma existed for Cain and Abel. Well since Cain killed Abel if I prescribe to karma then I must believe that Abel deserved it. Yet Abel was offspring from Adam and Eve and there were no people before them. So what did Abel do? Likewise Cain would have been getting justice for a past crime upon him. What crime was committed upon Cain?

Now if it's you reap what you sow, then Abel will still reap God's rewards because his offerings were accepted by God and thus we can conclude that Abel was just. Likewise, Cain will receive God's punishment/forgiveness in the next world as well. But in both cases the judgement comes from God and out of God's will not in an effort to keep a "balance".

Unbreakable logic here. If Riot offers no side to an argument it cannot be refuted.

Ad hominem, MikeyA.

I'm kinda surprised; I thought RG wanted to get deeper into discussion/debate about Christianity when he was pushing on aussie. You seem ready and willing to discuss the issue; whether or not you'd technically consider yourself a Christian seems irrelevant. Maybe I misunderstood his intention.

I'm a Christian but it's nothing I care to debate, it's mine and it's just the way it is. I don't push any of my beliefs on others, I don't care about the faith of anyone else.
