Is there a thread on last night's VMA awards? This should go in there.

Thanks, Zero.

I'm starting my Christmas shopping & I intend to be done with everything, including having my home decorated, by Black Friday. I have 10 holiday parties to plan, 8 of them work related & I have to find a gown for a gala in December. It's 87 degrees outside & all I want to do is sit by the pool and fuck off.
I'm actually looking forward to the holidays this year. First time in a long time.

You need two trees this year. A tree for the foyer & a more intimate one for the family room. I see room for more touches like that but 2 is enough to handle. You'll have time to do it too.
I plan in going back to work so I won't have as much time as you think. Maybe you can come over and decorate for me.

I'd love to! Give me a big budget & I will dazzle you. I do mantlescapes too.
Duch, do you have a fireplace? I love fireplaces? Is that environmentally wrong in this day and age? Or is it just not economically sound? Heating here is expensive.

Yup, a few of them. My house is very old, colonial old & except for the great room the rooms are fairly small and most have a fireplace.

Many people have fires in the cold weather months here, I don't see it as being environmentally wrong.

HAHAHAHAHA at first I read that as MANSCAPES.

I don't do those.
Yea, I didn't think so. Lol

I will post pics if my tree and fireplace for you.

I'm kind of shameless when it comes to getting y'all to post pix so I would like that a lot.
Now you have to post some. I would love to see your kitchen again. I remember really liking it.
WTF? I just turned on CNN. Fast food workers are staging a walk out demanding $15/hr? Jesus Christ.
Well this isn't good news for our cabin. Smiley_emoticons_slash

An evacuation advisory is in effect from Tuolumne City and the area east of Highway 108 to Pinecrest Lake.

I keep telling myself the fire can't possibly reach Pinecrest. It still appears (on the maps) to be pretty far away. 30
You need to unplug.

Thats like parachuting and suddenly realizing that you did pack a lunch after all.

I've discovered the way to keep my pleasant mood in the mornings - don't read the news, sports nor current events.
