"Real Gansta Azz Niggaz of Toledo" but that would have to go on Bravo.

Call me on some new number cuz I don't have a "FONE" anymore. Why no "FONE"? Was it one of those disposable "fones" that drug dealers use to deter LE? Wasn't there many "FONES" found at the scene? Maytee said johnnys "fone" was by/on his body. Then there were reports of "fones" being broken and scattered at the crime scene. Taking off for a little over a week might be enough time to hide your wounds without your "fone" to talk to anybody. Wounds being that someone might have given you if they were fighting for their life.
eeeek! I hadn't thought about that, interesting, though

Another thing I've noticed about Maytee...she seems to be in competition with the Straubs, whether it be to set up a fund because they set up a fund or because she's a good mom just like they were good parents, Lisa's past is just as bad as Johnny's past. I can't imagine her pain and what that can do to you but that's just an observation I've had...add that with the love she had for Johnny but knowing Johnny loved Lisa and chose to live with her over Maytee...I definitly can see her feeling like she had/has to comepte with Lisa/Straub's. AND..let's not forget if what's been said about her husband cheating, she's probably over the top with jealousy and feelings of competition.
I so agree with you here.
I think Johnny was distancing himself from Maytee. Others have used the word "embarrassed" and I believe that to my core.
Here was a chance for Johnny to make good. He was welcomed by a stable, respectable family and loved by a young woman who didn't talk or act like a gangster. She was edgy enough to like to party and to tolerate his past transgressions. He could envision a future far different from the environment of his youth, an upbringing he was most likely desperate to escape.
I think Maytee resented it fiercely. And I think Johnny's peers resented it, too.
I think you're probably right!
If Johnny was completely trying to escape his past and begin a better life, he wouldn't be hanging out with the social elite like Tiffany, have digital scales in his girlfriend's parent's house, and he sure wouldn't let Lisa around people like Tiffany.

How did anyone get alerted that something was happening to Johnny and Lisa?
TIFFANY
Tiffany called a friend who then called Maytee. Ok, so Tiffany is the one who knew something wasn't right. How did she know this? She says because she was on the phone with Johnny and heard the intruders come in. If she is lying about that phone call and what she heard, then why would she have alerted anyone in the first place (Sherita/Cherita)? She knew something was going on.
If Tiffany WAS INVOLVED with the crime, why would she have called the friend and said that Johnny and Lisa were in trouble? Because people knew (Maytee said that Johnny told her they were having friends over to shoot pool) that Tiffany was supposed to be over there that night and she didn't want to get blamed for the crime. She wanted to seem like a caring, concerned friend (two hours later, mind you).
I keep looking around the various FB pages for a Sherita, Sharita, Cherita, Charita. Nothing. Not in any of the friends lists. Seems odd considering she was the one who got the phone call. Seems like she would be part of the crowd, no?

Purple I sent you a PM.
What's the point of the forum if the real info is being discussed in a sub-forum of PM's?
I was wondering if LC and Duchess might let us have reference thread, in the members only section, where we can post the FB and MySpace links of the peripheral playahs. That would really help me! I know I keep I saying I need a flow chart and people probably think I'm kidding but I'm not! I can't keep all the people straight and I can't figure out whose FB page to go to look at to locate the friends with various initials. I think the entire social circle is fascinating to explore and relevant to the case.
There used to be a really great show on murders, and I can't recall which cable channel had it or what it was called, so maybe someone here will remember. Seems like it was on Saturday afternoons and it was narrated by a guy with deep, kind of spooky voice. It was always about a murder, often higher society, such as doctors killing their wifes and those types of stories, and they'd start out with a great background on the town, the society, who went to what church, ran the grocery store, etc, and stuff like that. It wasn't a forensics show but more Dominic Dunne style, giving all the connections between the various people in the town and all the gossip. That fleshes out a story and makes it a lot more interesting, which we need because if I hear one more thing about where the car was parked, or what the key went to, I think I'm gonna scream.
I think you might be talking about "City Confidential" .. I know the guy's name, but I just went blank (I believe he's dead now, the guy w/the spooky voice)
I have a few links saved, if anyone needs them
Yes, that was the show!
A city. A mystery. A story. Every seemingly normal city hides a mystery—an event that has changed it forever. City Confidential® scours the country to find these intriguing places and unearth their mysteries. Covering cities from Seattle to South Beach, each episode goes deep inside an American city to tell its unique story, probing the rich history that exists behind and beneath every community.
City Confidential is an American documentary television show, transmitted on the A&E Network, which singled out a community during each episode and investigated a crime that had occurred there. Rather than being a straighforward procedural, the installments began by focusing on the history and spirit of the city chosen. Often, the crime and persons involved highlighted a unique feature of that community.[1] Additionally, the show analyzed not only the crime itself, but also the impact which the crime, ensuing investigation and legal proceedings, had had on the community at large.

In regards to cell phones if i recall correctly, "Grieving Friend" posted many threads back the following excerpt..."Wednesday the 2nd I get a phone call from Mr.Z's mom asking for help with a phone she found in her room and that her laptop was stolen right out her bedroom with the case. Like someone in the house had the time to package it all up and then take it..."
That statement combined with the evidence seized by LE which included cell phones and computers, coupled with the the statement by the uncle of LS that somethig to the effect that nothing of value was taken from the home including flat screen TV's, computers, etc...kinda makes me wonder whose computer it actually was that was taken into evidence...
Probably a far fetch but one worth being noted, possibly??
Wonder who that phone belonged to. Sounds like she didn't know.

Alright, I'll give you that, it's a valid statement but, why? Why are they so concerned? I've not responded to text & my ringing BB many times. I've also pretended to not be home while my vehicle has been sitting in the circle. Why is Maytee freakin' out?
Lisa's car was in the garage. According to the Detective in front of the News cameras on the first day of the investigation. I quote Lady Cop in her opening dialogue on page 1.

She said Mr. Clarke had picked up Miss Straub from work Sunday. The two "had plans with someone earlier in the evening," the detective said, but had not shown up and had not called to say they wouldn't be there.
Miss Straub's car was in the garage, and it did not appear they had gone out at all that evening, she said.
I would like to know one FACT was the car in the driveway or in the garage
god if we can't get this right how can we get anything right lol!![/color]
I know!!! Even though Maytee & Tiffany say it was in the driveway, Stooksbury said "in the garage" .. I'm going with LE
Her house has a three car garage. It was cold out. Makes sense to park in the garage and enter through the kitchen.

A friend of Johnny's. First name V Listed as a friend in many of the FB pages. VD's girlfriend watched the Pro Bowl with Johnny the night of the murders.
I put a pot of coffee on, & have been reading like crazy. Below is the Nancy Grace transcript, for the interview with Lisa Strub's Uncle (Mr Verbosky) As of this interview, he says the Straub's have been talking to local LE & FBI, daily. He also says he "believes the car was in the driveway"... And since there were no fresh footprints in the snow, anywhere around the home, that's how they figure the perps got in, via the garage door, that leads into the home. He says the driveway was clear, & so were the roads. He even states the garage door would have been up.
I definitely think Maytee knows more. Maybe owed a dealer money and as she didnt have it. Maybe she tried to pay them off by telling them about a safe at Lisa's house, They didnt find the safe so they could be teaching Maytee a lesson. JMO
Because of some of the remarks she has made I definitely think she knows more.

perfect sense, no doubt.. I always used our garage in the winter months
eta - but then again, if you were only going to be in the house a few minutes, to maybe change clothes, one MIGHT not pull up in the garage
