I see Cracker as a pineapple...hard, tuff & prickly on the outside but sweet & juicy on the inside. When I think of sinking my teeth into a firm, luscious piece of pineapple, I could almost drool.

I imagine User as a California grape, like the ones grown in Napa, perfectly shaped, bursting with flavor, the kind that explodes in your mouth the moment you wrap your lips around it.

I think Sally is a fig & I have a very good reason for thinking that. One of my figs grows by the pool & on more than one occasion while laying out there I recalled the photo she posted of one of her bathing suits, it was perfect for showing off a great bottom & I was usually staring at my fig while daydreaming of her ass but now that I'm thinking about her awesome ass again I may have to change fig to melon.

I don't wanna be a fig. The only cookies my mom would buy when I was a kid were fig newtons and it really pissed me off.

Frank is an olive for obvious reasons. He's a greasy bastard from Italy who produces a ton of oil and goes well with garlic, although many people find him off-putting.

Maybe I need to give them another try. I used to hate beets because they tasted like dirt and sugar, but now I love them. The taste of dirt somehow changed to earthy, clean goodness.

Psst...isn't rhubarb a vegetable? It's a pretty color but if it has calories...

it goes well with strawberries in a pie. or cooked down with just a little sugar. i love the stuff, i had rhubarb plants many years old, they came back every year. tough! resilient! stringy! hahaha

it's naturally quite sour. needs sweetness to offset that. it comes in long reddish stalks. i swear i had rhubarb plants in my first Mass. garden that were planted by the Pilgrims. it's very hardy. and an acquired taste.

I think of rhubarb as a spring veggie that you harvest around the same time as strawberries. Purely an analytical question, where did you learn that rhubarb is a winter veggie? I am not being snarky, just curious.

And on the plus side if you eat the magic figs all the ancient authors say your bones will smell good. Whether this is of any value in your extended lifetime or not is somewhat questionable though.

i like that Clad. i love figs and dates and have 2 pomegranates in my kitchen right now because i hear they have excellent health properties as well as mystical ones.
the other good thing available right now is concord grapes, they are delicious and nothing like any other grape. there are only 3 fruits native to New England, cranberries, concord grapes and blueberries.
