Ugh. That there is actually a site called Justice4jodi.com makes me want to gag.
There's nothing there but the case number for her appeal and the "donate" button, linked to US Bank.
Not nearly as entertaining as our friends over at the Jodi Arias is Innocent!!! asylum. Crazies; but they were good for a few laughs and some levity during the trial.

I'm kinda curious as to how you know her, but understand if you can't or don't want to share the context, and would recommend against it anyway if so doing would reveal any of your PI.
I've read interviews with others who knew her briefly and had the same impression of her demeanor as you did.
While she may seem shy in some circumstances, she ain't too proud to beg (via her Twitter surrogate), again. Whip out your credit card, Gunnar, and head on over to justice4jodi.com. It was a working environment. That's all I can really say.

That would explain her comfort level with 'butt love'.

Judge Stephens denied Arias's request to kick Nurmi to the curb - no explanation for the decision has been released.
Since no agreement was reached between the prosecution and the defense in the Oct 24th settlement conference, the penalty phase is reportedly moving forward to retrial.
No date for the retrial has been established.
Slow wheels...

Slow wheels... She's going to envoke her right to an attorney of her choice. She was smiling when the judge gave his decision. I believe this is a defense tactic for an upcoming appeal/movement for mistrial. The judge just made this case drag out even longer IMO.

Good! It burns my ass that she gets any consideration whatsoever. Murdering bitches do not deserve courtesies and I consider her getting anything she would like to have a courtesy.

Re-Trial Rulings Rendered
Yesterday, Judge Sherry Stephens made the following rulings:
- No live media coverage (tv, twitter, streaming, etc..) from the court room for the penalty re-trial, expected to last 2 months. Defense motion granted.
- The retrial will be conducted in Phoenix, despite the defense's contention that a change of venue would be required to get an unbiased jury for penalty retrial. Defense motion denied.
-Stephens will summons 400 potential jurors and weed out those who have pre-conceived notions regarding the appropriate sentencing for Arias. The jury will not be sequestered. Defense motion denied.
Still no date set for the re-trial.

I'm glad to see some movement in a forward direction.
Two months. Jesus. So much money being spent on that POS.
It will be very disappointing if the end result is her getting LWOP. It bothers me that she would have the opportunity to make a life for herself even if it is in the slammer.
I think that those who murder should be put to death in the same manner they killed in.

I'm somewhat irked that Jodi is probably singing Christmas carols in the slammer again this year.

Yesterday, Judge Stephens denied the second motion from her defense team seeking to have the penalty re-trial moved out of Phoenix.
Judge Stephens noted that Arias has failed to meet the burden showing media coverage of her case will inhibit her ability to get an impartial jury and a fair trial.
Still no date set for the re-trial. She ain't going anywhere for a while.

Letting everybody know, the trial isn't due to start until mid February. We believe this is a tactic to try and get us to throw in the towel. We will not! I say again it won't happen. Our family will come together and see it through until it is finished. There is a monster that haunts us, but once the correct sentence is given, it's her who will be haunted until the most the most humane punishment comes to her. Nothing compared to the sentence she gave to a good man. Anyhow, the entire Alexander family thanks all of you. Thank you for having our backs.
I hope there are no more delays and the Alexander family knows Arias's fate by end of March or April - the penalty retrial is expected to take several weeks.

I feel so bad for that family. This whole trial has turned into a big joke

This is really dragging on. Too bad we won't be able to watch it, I heard that cameras are being barred from the courtroom.

There was yet another hearing today.
Jury selection in the second penalty phase was scheduled to begin March 17.
By the time she's sentenced (if the current retrial schedule holds true) it'll be about a year since she her conviction and 6 years since she murdered Travis Alexander. Arias is definitely a drag.
There will be no television cameras or streaming in the court room this time out, per defense request. And, the penalty phase retrial will take place in Phoenix, despite defense objections.

I wonder what she will appeal on. You know that's coming. I thought her defense was ridiculous and it was very nasty to drag the victim's name through the mud just to save her sorry ass.

I've just read up on this case.
The British justice and legal system is far from perfect but I'm sorry the American justice and legal system just seems to be retarded.
It seems to be all about the rights of the perpetrator.
When Mark Bridger, the convicted killer of April Jones, tried to appeal against his conviction pressure was applied and he dropped it.
We need to punish the French, ignore the Germans and forgive the Russians - Condoleezza Rice.
