Donovan, have I frightened you? Wouldn't be the first time.

I'd say more like Frau Blucher from Young Frankenstein. Even the horses react when her name is said.

No, more like a headless horseman from hell I'd say.

Sounds like she is one of your favorite people. Do you socialize together outside of Mock?

No we only socialize here, but I wouldn't be against meeting the big brute someday.

I guessing you are many miles apart.

A guy did that to me once. It was creepy. I met him at a bar and he followed me home. I wasn't aware he had done that until the next time I saw him and he started paying me compliments.

Dramaqueen

Whatever, I've got nothing. I do know zero plus zero and zero times zero equals...zero. Yay me?? I'm tired.

Carry on.

I like your avatar.

When someone fails at multiquote it kinda makes me miss Lady Cop a lot. Wasn't she the one who used to get mad about that?
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

She has done a few things for me over the years. I have been very grateful for her help with me, and her input here in Mock too. She is a good gal.

When did that happen? Is it in this thread?

Never had the pleasure of meeting Lady Cop. I saw something about grammar nazis when I signed up. Is that her job?

She enjoys sharing her talent. When I was in grade school and the first day of a new school year the teacher would look at my last name and ask if I was her brother. At first it was great but then I was known not as my own person but her brother. Looks like it is a dynamic still at work.

The crowd slowly dispersed in soft, whispering groups, voices muted by the fascination of death that all men carry with them in small pockets deep inside them...................You will be assimilated.

Thanks for sharing.

Here is something a friend sent me today I will share with you.

THE HAIRCUT

One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked
about his bill, and the barber replied, 'I cannot accept money from you,
I'm doing community service this week.'

The florist was pleased and left the shop.

When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank
you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill,
the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing
community service this week.' The cop was happy and left the shop.

The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you '
card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door.

Then a Congressman came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his
bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money f rom you. I'm doing
community service this week.'

The Congressman was very happy and left the shop.

The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen
Congressmen lined up waiting for a free haircut

And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the
citizens of our country and the politicians who run it.

As Ronald Reagan said:

BOTH POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME
REASON!
