It's not just a religious thing. I'm pretty sure murder is illegal according to federal and state law also. Abortion is fine if medical complications caused by you or the baby and you would die without the abortion. But to just abort a baby because it is unwanted because of rape, financial or some other reason is just wrong. There is always the choice of putting the baby up for adoption.

Right to choose? Shouldn't the baby get the right to choose whether it lives or dies? You murder a newborn baby you go to prison. Same laws should apply to you murdering a still growing,developing baby denied the right to choose.
