I made it home
Got in to my mom's sewing room, she showed me her projects. I asked if we could work on something together.
The sound of the sewing machines, cutting and even the TV in the other room
all familiar sounds.
83 and still making plans

She says she is not ready to give up driving yet
Her doctor was surprised when she said that this morning.
I asked her if she has a plan for when that day comes.
She only drives to the store now, during the day.
