Is she appealing? I'm biased against her, I think she's a horrible individual. She did ugly things so I think she's ugly.

That's a man, baby!
Not appealing at all to me. Then again, I'm not serving a life sentence in prison where my only other option is man ass. Although that prison sounded pretty lush for a maximum security place... cooking in their cells, banging girls who work there, special privileges... crazy.

I saw a headline somewhere today but didn't get a chance to investigate. Sounded like the assholes got weapons from that cabin they had been in

A second prison worker has been arrested. Apparently one of the things he did was give the prisoners access to tha catwalk.

(06-24-2015, 08:30 PM)Duchess Wrote: A second prison worker has been arrested. Apparently one of the things he did was give the prisoners access to tha catwalk. It's the same guy that was put on administrative leave and was being questioned last week, 27 year Corrections Dept. veteran Gene Palmer. ^ Palmer is charged with destroying evidence, promoting dangerous prison contraband, and official misconduct. District Attorney Andrew Wylie said, "She (Joyce Mitchell) put the hacksaw blades and put the other screwdriver bits in hamburger, froze it and then brought it into the facility," ... The correction officer, Gene Palmer, came, collected it and then brought it to Matt." Asked if he believes Palmer did that unwittingly, Wylie replied, "Yes. Without knowing that the tools were inside the meat." (HOTD: Palmer failed to run the meat through the metal detector, as required by policy, according to my understanding.) Palmer is also alleged to have escorted the inmates out onto a catwalk behind their adjoining cells to fix electrical breakers so they could use hot plates. He was arraigned and released early thisy morning after posting $25,000 bail he put on his credit card, a correction guard at the local jail told CBS News. If convicted, Palmer faces a maximum sentence of 1-1/3 to 4 years on the felonies of tampering with physical evidence and 2-1/3 to 7 years on the charge of promoting prison contraband. He's actually facing more charges than Joyce Mitchell. Palmer and his attorney insist that he was manipulated by Joyce Mitchell and had no knowledge of the escape plan. I'm thinking there needs to be a complete house cleaning of all prison personnel.
I'd find it hard to believe these are isolated incidents.

The more I hear about what was going on there the more I believe the inmates were running the asylum.

As was mentioned by BT, a complete house cleaning of all prison personnel is required, nothing less will do.

Both have been shot and killed. Perfect ending.

Matt is dead; police are reportedly chasing Sweat now.

If the reports are factual and he tried to carjack a camper in Malone, he was very close to the border.

Interesting development. I wonder if they had eyes on both, and Sweat got away... or if they had split up and they only came upon Matt?
ETA: just heard a report that there is a confirmed foot pursuit ongoing for Matt, as HotD had posted.

Would the State Police allow a tracker to help them? There are people up there that know that area very well, they know the land and they know how to track. They are quite close to the reservation and my imagination is running wild.

I would have loved to be the fly on the wall during the conversation about one of them leaving his boots in the cabin.
