I'm always busy juggling things and waiting to hear from someone to know which pin to throw up in the air or catch next.

It's more a question of letting the pins hit the floor for long enough to get outta the juggling position altogether.

Good luck with your goal, Six, you'll do it. I've been skydiving twice in Perris; loved it. Both were tandem, by requirement. I can see why you wanna get to a solo jump qualification - even bigger rush without the human safety net, I'm sure. Pretty cool stuff.

Tandems are not a requirement, I did over Three hundred jumps at Perris and none were a Tandem. They call it Accelerated Free Fall, or AFF. $350 and Six hours instruction you get your own chute the first time. Here is a competition to see who can land and drink a beer in the shortest time. Skydivers know how to party!

It was a requirement for me when I jumped around 20 years ago.

I didn't take any classes; just signed a liability form, watched a quick video, and jumped with an instructor.

If the Accelerated Program was available back then, I didn't know about it. I probably wouldn't have invested in the training time back then anyhow. If I skydive again, I'd probably take the classes and jump alone though. That would be cool.

2 Tandems required when I went, was well on my way to get under 250 when I hosed my back, that sucked. So, Healthy now, working on the weigght again, soon as I get to about 240 I will be making that jump
