There is nothing . . . NOTHING . . . in the world like San Francisco sourdough bread. The waterfront there in San Francisco is one of my fav places. You can get a bottle of wine, a loaf of bread and a dungeness crab right there on the street and have a feast on the beach all within a five minute walk.
Wish I could come with you

"Peanut" has just been named the new "World's Ugliest Dog".
I don't even think Peanut is all that ugly! He was burned early in life and his owner wants to use Peanut as a poster dog for what can happen to animals who are abused. She plans to use the $1,500 prize to pay for other animals' veterinary bills. That's cool.
Short on back bone, one of the runners-up was ^ Quasi Modo; -- if Baldawgbites was a dog...
Here's a photo gallery of some of this year's other contestants.

I'm so glad Peanut has a loving home now. I am completely unreasonable when it comes to animal abuse. I won't those who do it to die, just die.

Animal abusers are low-life assholes. I'm glad to see more of them getting prosecuted these days.
Did you check out the photo gallery of this years contestants? I think SweetPea Rambo is the ugliest.
And, how could anybody think that this dog is ugly?
He's last year's winner, named Walle. He looks to be a mellow, straight-faced guy just trotting along doing his own thing. If Cutz was a dog...

No, I didn't check out the gallery and all I'm seeing right now is that I said won't when I meant to say want.
Walle is a doll. I find something likeable about almost every animal I've ever encountered except for a dalmatian and one horse.

I checked out the gallery. I see what you mean about Sweetpea Rambo. Wooooo. ![hah hah](https://mockforums.net/images/smilies/71.gif)
It makes me happy to know that even animals who aren't pleasing to the eye have family that will love them anyway.

His owner does seem to love his little Sweetpea.

It would be cruel to compare Sweetpea Rambo to a Mocker, so I won't (but, if I was cruel like that, I'd admit that Sweetpea reminds me of kevvome).

Dawg please, you so funny!
But seriously though, I'll throw you a bone and take that bet.
You could never catch this bitch; I'd doggedly elude you and laugh at you chasing your own tail around.
And even if you could catch me, Quasi Modo has no teeth; all tongue. My genitals have survived such treatment plenty of times -- which makes your bark worse than your bite.

Yeah, I'll give you that.
Walle does seem to own the red carpet; workin' the pride stride like a boss.
And, he's obviously unashamed by how inappropriately his owner dressed for the occasion -- too straight-forwardly focused to sweat the small shit.

I spent the better part of two days building furniture in a 90 degree house with a broken AC - I will tell you appropriate decorum for clothing is overrated in some situations.

I ain't scared -- I can take a licking.
I'm sure he'd deliver that tongue-lashing doggy-style and if he managed to catch me (doubtful) I'd be ready!.
Could be a heavenly experience for him on the way down -- hell, he just might find Jesus.

Oh, you had a link to it, but it didn't work for me. That pesky, interfering Jesus!

Well, they say he's everywhere and that he's got the whole world in his hands.
