Oh hell yeah! There's a few that I would rather walk than drive. For example-

I think it's uncouth. My friend hosted my baby shower and wanted me to do a gift registry so I did it as not to offend her. What she didn't know is that I didn't put the registry cards in the invitations. First of all I'm not poor and can afford my own baby shit and I think it's rude to dictate what gifts people bring.

Do you remember the conversation we once had in here about the newly married couple and their honeymoon? They gave a list of stuff for people to pay for, massages, chocolate covered strawberries, champagne, special glasses, etc? That's what this reminds me of. So fricken crass. *shudders*

Okay, I have a question for Sally or anyone that wants to answer.
Is there any car or vehicle that you would be embarresed to drive around? What if someone gifted you a car or vehicle-and it was new-is there one that you would cringe at slightly to drive around?
A BMW?
And you can't sell it and turn around and use the $, you have to drive it.
My husband pimped out our old Tahoe for my son's first car. He put 10,000 into it which I thought was a complete waste of money, but it was a fun little project for him. It looked like a ghetto mobile and I was just as embarrassed for my son to drive it to school as he was.

I had a little geo metro which was just as useless, but I lived in the city then and it got great gas mileage and I could find a parking space anywhere.

I would be scared shitless every minute I was in it. A semi has tires bigger than that little thing.

I bought a half dozen golden apples at the local providore the other day, they were delicious. And some finger limes. I doubt you’d have ever seen finger limes? But holy shit they go great on a fresh shucked oyster

I once drove back from Florida with a lime & lemon tree. It was a pain in the ass but I REALLY wanted those trees so I thought it was worth it. It wasn't long after I returned home that I found the same damn trees at my local Lowes.

I have never heard of a finger lime, but they sound amazing. Normally I just do the oysters with lemon and cucumber mignonette. Still not showing the boobs though.
