If this is putting America down, then my foot is on your neck.    Its a lot to take in if your life is comfortable.   My personality type is such that others suffering is mine, i feel it as if it were mine.    I get it, you dont, except for the Duchess.

I love my country, I have immediate family members who are former military, I feel like a patriotic American, but that doesn't preclude me from thinking that my country has some serious faults and some of that shit is downright shameful, our healthcare system for example, it's wretched.

The last time I saw the price of a newspaper it was $1.75, I remember when it was 50 cents and I don't feel like it was that long ago either. I haven't read a real paper in a long time. I once thought I'd never read a book on my iPad, but now I use that option all the time, my library allows me to borrow books that will download to my device. Super convenient.
