Ukraine was a de facto NATO asset/proxy since 2014. That's over and done with now, and Zelensky has nothing to say about it. There are 7-8 NATO training facilities scattered across Ukraine, which are probably destroyed by now. There were military advisors from numerous countries on the ground when the shit hit the fan. Some of the neo-Nazi units were sporting Israeli assault rifles. It looks an awful lot like NATO was getting ready to attack Russia. Now that they've been booted out of Ukraine that's going to be a whole lot harder to do.
Russia dismantled the Warsaw Pact, but the warmonger elite that rule in the West chose not to reciprocate. Everything that's happened over the last 8 years appears to have been preparation for the conquest of what John McCain referred to as "a gas station masquerading as a country". I'd say McCain was a sack of shit masquerading as a human being.

Putin called NATO's bluff and has destroyed their training facilities and arms depots. NATO is a bitch-slapped cur at this point, so Russia does indeed get to decide the fate of Ukraine.

Well tell that to all the people who lost their lives just so he could get what he asked for in the first place. Now we are in a conflict while having a president who is losing his cognitive abilities by the day and meanwhile Russia and China are getting chummy. It's fantastic.
It seems more like a football game where innocent people die and have their lives ruined while the media and public get off on it.
