more than likely. I'm local and would dare to guess that a bunch of car doors slamming would attract attention (killers getting out to go into the house). On the other hand it's been stated that there have been some big parties there b4 and the garage was where people went out to smoke, so maybe people were used to commotion in the garage and in the drive way up near the garage.

I've been reading for a while and have decided to post a comment. An associate of mine who is close friends with the Straub family said that they (the Straubs) were at their wits end with Lisa and that they allowed Johnny to stay at their house because it would be easier for them to keep an eye on their daughter. I was also told that Maytee tried to get money from the Straubs in some elaborate scheme months before the murders. Also, a friend of mine who works in the restaurant business says some of the cooks (who purchased drugs from Johnny) were talking about how Johnny owed a lot of money (she didn't specify) for pills and cocaine. While obviously this is just heresay at this point, it is something to consider.

I remember that. Johnny's dad. Can't recall what it was on (news clip, I guess). I can see why he would say that because finding Johnny & Lisa in that condition, it would seem, would look so DELIBERATE. It's been my feeling all along that this was premeditated murder and I think the perps brought the tape.

Duchess -- I've also thought this was deliberate. Either revenge/hatred or someone sending a message (e.g., this is what happens if you cross me, don't pay your debt, snitch, move in on my turf, etc.). I had thought the case might be solved rather quickly because oftentimes these creeps talk before the crime about teaching someone a lesson, or brag about it afterwards. They may have said something, but the horrific killings may have accomplished its purpose and made people terrified to talk.

The robbery muddies things a bit - lots of good theories proposed about it though.

Freshbait, got a question i would like your input on. I feel tiff is in a "a few good men" logic loop. As a reminder of the movie nicholson's character says the victim was in danger, and that men take matters into their own hands, then later says that no one would defy his own order to not touch the victim. Applying this to our case here we have two options:

1) If we believe tiff heard johnny yelling and fighting with someone while she was on the phone then why go over there like shes going to save the day (wonder woman?) and why wait 2 fucking hours to get some real help about it.

2) if we believe tiff heard johnny casually say "I will call you back" then why the need to panick. they arent answering phones, so what.! so your going to drive 20 minutes to see why.? maybe they just decided to do something else and didn't want to include her. They arent answering the door, again so what. they didn't go back to your house, so what. these things don't then require someone to raise the alarm and wake everyone up to go over there and kick in doors. these things alone aren't indicators of foul play. hence why cops didn't enter the residence. Everyone starts to panick b/c a call isn't answered in the middle of the night.? shit they could have just been sleeping and turned off the ringer/ phone.

This goes back to my first gut reaction, someone who was trying to get help for the victims knew of a real danger, something beyond just missed phone calls, something beyond what was on the surface, to start reacting to a phone call ignored. my question is, what could that real know imminent danger be? or is it all a bs set up with fake phone calls etc.

Thus the bullshit logic loop. It doesn't seem it can really be option 1 or 2. it doesn't seem to make a bit of logical sense and when you go back and forth between options 1 and 2 you realize that at some point in this narrative there is a point where the story crumbles. your thought?

Could it be that Tiff wasn't allowed to call communicate directly with JCs parents because then the 'DOTS' in this caper could be connected and connecting them dots could expose the truth. So it would be something like "Hi Serita, its Tiff, yea somethings going wrong and you know I can't call them directly so would you do it for me. "NO!!!" What U mean NO Leave me out of it. Well then call "X" and tell him to call JCs parents and call me. That way them having my number can be explained and vise versa.

My questions have still been unanswered, I was curious if anyone knew the answers. What did Johnny’s father state he actually saw? Has he spoken to anyone (i.e. news, etc)? OR do we know what type of conversation did his father have with Tiffany?

Re: #5 - I don't recall any mention of a relationship between Tiffany's parents (God knows who her dad is) and Johnny's parents.

Re: #6 - I have not looked for Ruben. If people can't find him then I would doubt Tiffany's claim that he was Johnny's "best friend". If he were, wouldn't he showing on Maytee's memorial pages or the Legacy link? So far, people can't find Ruben or Sharita. Something doesn't add up there.

Ruben can be found. It's Ruben P. He has a brother named Mario P. Should be easy to figure out from there
