A) reply on things that interest me
B) mock others on a mock forum
C) reply to insult
D) change up discourse if someone drops the standards of acceptable conversation to say (off the top of my head) and accuses one of rape apologia or condoning child abuse? Would I maintain, raise or lower accordingly. If someone else chose to call a member's child on here a whore and suggest their parent were fucking them, would I raise, maintain or lower standards accordingly?

I think if you really addressed this honestly and rationally (I have no doubt you will) you will probably agree the answers would be something like

A) Yes you should reply to things that interest you and not feel you can't because people may not like your answers.
B) Yes mocking, deriding and insulting people is probably par for the course and if THEY do not like being the subject of such, they are probably in the wrong kind of forum or should ignore the mocker.
C) Yes, you should give it back as you received it and not be silenced, censored or shamed out of doing so.
D) Yes you would probably be right lowering your standards to accommodate the acceptable lows of others.

I get that you find the result not to your liking but logically it is pretty fair and reasonable.

Meh, only weird by a measure of degrees. We are for the most part complete strangers on an online forum, getting into discussions with people purporting to be stupid names with sillier avatars. We do this in our spare time as a passing through flyovers inbetween our work, parenting, outside life and sleep. We talk about absolute crap and with these strangers and try to engage and throw our useless opinions around. Moveover this is a "Mockforum" and therefore are supposed to be free with our mocking and putdowns and the like.

So I give you weird but it is hardly a concession. IF I am happy to take on the above as a given then I may as well reply to EVERYTHING I am interested in and focus on these things.

Yeah, he could win by cheating again. Russia systematically interfered with our election and they could do so again. Most republicans don't care about that, cheating to win is something they have been doing for awhile. They love their gerrymandering too so cheating in any form is not a bridge too far for them.

Even with this, the MAINLY directed their efforts against Hillary but not exclusively. For example they sponsored an anti-Trump rally that Michael Moore got inadvertently tied into,. They favoured in turn Trump, Bernie and Jill Stein. It was NOT coordinated. The release of emails to Wikileaks did not come from a Russian source. When dickhead Democrats could not explain their loss, they blamed EVERYTHING on Russia and then tried to tie Trump to Russia. Idiots believed them. Some still do.
