Do the Democrats strategically leak out of context quotes design to support their position, to the media? Was this predicated on a notion of quid pro quo that was shown not to be present, already? Has a vote been done? Have the protocols of impeachment inquiry, followed for both the Nixon and Clinton impeachment, been followed? Does the target of impeachment have the Constitutional right to face his accusers? Does the target of the impeachment get to make his own defence? Were the whistleblower rules and forms changed to allow for second hand hearsay? Did the whistleblower work with the people heading this investigation prior to its inception? Is the chairman leading this not a fact witness? Is the target of the impeachment allowed to bring their own witnesses? Fair? You dumbarses wouldn't know fair if you tripped over it

The reason it's being done this way is to get as much negative media output as possible before the election. I'm sure there are plenty of other schemes in the works to do the same thing. their candidates are to weak to be able to go it alone.

Done what way, Maggot? Exactly what is it that you disagree with? You have things to say but you never elaborate on what exactly the problem is.

Closed door bipartisan depositions and interviews are routine features of Congressional investigations. This is nothing new and those filthy republicans know that. They are clowns participating in trump's clown show. That fool met with them the day before and convinced them to do that. They are fools too.

Star Witnesses can never be the ones heading an investigation.

Another Dem Bites the Dust..........
Beto O'Rourke has announced to a crowd of supporters that he's officially dropped out of the 2020 Democrat Primary for President. That makes nine Democrat candidates who've dissolved their campaigns so far. O'Rourke started off strong, but lost stamina and fund-raising ability shortly thereafter, despite taking one of the most aggressive stands on gun control and climate change during the latter weeks of his campaign. While the DNC is reportedly urging him to run for Senate again (he was narrowly beaten by incumbent Ted Cruz in 2018), O'Rourke says he's not planning to run for anything at this time. Trump predictably told a rally crowd last night that Beto "quit like a dog". So, now there are 17 Democrat hopefuls still in the race at about 100 days out of the first primary vote in New Hampshire. On the Republican Side.......
There are four candidates campaigning for President from the GOP. 1. Incumbent Donald Trump, of course. 2. 2016 Libertarian Vice President candidate and former Massachusetts governor/prosecutor Bill Weld. 3. Former South Carolina congressman/governor Mark Sanford. 4. Conservative radio host and former Illinois congressman Joe Walsh. They lie, they're disingenuous, they present themselves as not even being intelligent enough to hold the positions they hold. trump has neutered them all. I can't respect people who are so easily cowed by trump, fuckin' trump of all people.

I see that Beto still got the net put on no matter how much he waved his arms. I think Kamela will be next followed by Biden. The fake Indian will be left standing.........maybe.

I agree that Kamala will likely be throwing in the towel sometime very soon. She's already cutting and pulling staff out of New Hampshire.
But, I think Biden (and Warren and Bernie) will hang in there for quite some time. I still like Mayor Pete and think he'll probably be one of the last few standing too.

As far as I know, nobody here at Mock has a direct line to Bloomberg, Mags. So, we wouldn't be able to answer your question with any more certainty than the speculative news reports that he's once again 'expected' to register as a candidate. We'll have to wait and see. If Bloomberg does file to run for President, he wouldn't be the first high-profile businessman to have been registered/declared as a Democrat, a Republican, and an Independent and toyed with running many times prior to declaring his candidacy. The last one to do so won and he's sitting in the White House now. Personally, I'd be surprised and disappointed if Hillary Clinton chose to run for President again in 2020. But, it's her choice.

Billionaire businessman and former NYC mayor Michael Bloomberg formally threw his hat in the ring for President today on the Democrat ticket, making it 18 Democrat candidates in the running as of today.
^ Bloomberg, 77, has obviously got a hell of a lot of money to spend on campaign ads and voter registration efforts. He's reportedly not confident with Democrat front-runner Joe Biden's campaign and believes that getting Trump out of office is of utmost importance for the health of our nation. (continued)

Bloomberg donated $100 million to Democrat candidates in 2018, helping the party to take control of the House of Representatives by a large margin. He's also spent many millions promoting stronger gun safety/control efforts and groups over the last few years.
Bloomberg's biggest challenge is expected to be attracting African American voters who were targeted during his 'stop and frisk' policy while he was mayor. As for policy, Bloomberg says he'll focus on climate and gun regulations, increasing taxes on the very wealthy, and putting forth a universal health care plan which won't prohibit citizens from using private insurers if they so choose. I really wish they'd have an age limit for this, he's way too old. I think Warren's pushing the limit and she's in great shape.

Finally, a worthy contender! One who has a good chance of dethroning The Donald. Just wish Mike (77) was a little younger. Although, however, The Donald is 73 Joey is 77 Sandy is "78" And baby Liz is 70.
