Because China now owns in debt almost 10% of the world GDP. The US still owes China over $1 trillion. The hold in excess of $6 trillion now, and growing logarithmically, not linear. They are very obscure in how they influence the global economy and their transparency is fucking non-existent.
They are sneaky fucks and poor global citizens. About the only thing I’ve ever liked about Trump is his healthy disregard for them and his willingness to call them out, even if it is mostly bullish.

Sure, you can make your own stuff, but you’re not willing to pay for it. Or even worse, work for $2.50/hr to make it for a price where people in your own country will buy it. You’ve gotten entitled, fat and complacent
Like I said, you are Now where this country was in the 80s. The debt is still piling, no matter how good you think Trumps creative accounting is. You’re starting to sell off public assists to balance the books. Why are you worried about China? Yeah, you should be worried more worried about Mongolians.

Why are republicans so hell bent on making it harder for people to vote? Almost everyday I read a new and different story of the things they do to suppress the vote. What the hell does that party even stand for these days?

I don't have a problem voting, I go in they check my license, they draw a line through my name and I vote, takes me maybe 10 min. This cycle they may even negate mail ins and only accept absentee and physical voting who knows?

I got my ballot yesterday, filled it out this morning and now it's sitting by the door waiting to go. I doubled checked it too. They sent my Primary ballot back when I didn't sign the outer envelope as well.

I don't trust the mail much. I would never mail the winning lottery ticket to lottery headquarters.

Sonofabitch!
Yes, I had to apply for an absentee ballot, normally one would have to have a legitimate reason for doing so, but because of the Coronavirus that was waived this year.

Our ballots come with bar codes so that it may be tracked.

Maggot's swallowed that whole "mail-in ballots aren't the same as absentee ballots". They're literally the very same ballot, it's just that some states have different names for them with different procedures to get them. They're all processed the same way and the instances of fraud are extremely low.
It's fucking amazing how this bullshit is spreading, it's been repeatedly disproven.

Some states have been doing it successfully for years and you never heard a peep about it, but then trump began crying the blues and a third of the country is clutching their pearls and looking for trouble where there is none.

Both Utah and Colorado send ballots out to registered voters without a request. Utah is one of the reddest states in the country and you don't hear a peep about fraudulent votes there. Funny how that works.

If you weren't so brain dead you may have learned something a few times in your life.
An absentee ballot is requested by the voter, they send you one and you send it back
A state issued "mail-in" ballot is sent out based on the voter registration lists. If a person voted before and were registered some states send a ballot based on that no matter if they are still in the state, dead or have moved.
Now stop being the dope that always constantly has to be so freaking argumentative. geez!

You both know there are computerized records now, right? The deep state, excuse me, government employees have jobs that actually involve keeping track of deaths, change of addresses etc... because it's all on fucking computers.
Jesus Christ.

And Sally, unless I'm reading this wrong, you have to request a mail-in ballot in Florida.
Quote:A vote-by-mail ballot refers to a ballot that you request and pick-up or have delivered to you without having to vote at the polls during early voting or on Election Day. A voter must first be registered to vote before he or she can request a vote-by-mail ballot. Unless otherwise specified, a request to receive a vote-by-mail ballot covers all elections through the end of the calendar year for the second ensuing regularly scheduled general election. If a vote-by-mail ballot is returned undeliverable, it will cancel a request for future elections and must be renewed.

Are you sure your husband didn't request one?

We did, back in fucking 2008. They automatically send us the ballots for the local elections too. Edited to say back in 2008 when my husband got his citizenship. They have a booth set up for it as soon as you walk out of the ceremony.
