Mr Hef....Well Played Sir, Well Played
Don't know if anyone else heard this but Tom Petty was found unresponsive in full cardiac arrest and rushed to hospital where he was revived, but latest info alleged from TMZ has him brain dead and may be removing life support.

RIP Tom Petty

*eta didn't see donovan's post, wire reporting him dead now.

Co-worker saw his tour this summer, said it was a great show and he sounded awesome. Tour wrapped just last week in Hollywood.
Monty Hall just died and I heard about Tom Petty it doesn't look good for him.

Bush Sr. was really sick in the spring I think, you almost had one there.
OK, so now they are saying he's not dead... yet.
Bring out your dead!

But I'm not dead yet!

Oh, you'll be stone dead in a moment!

I don't want to get on the cart!

I nearly posted that clip when I saw he wasn't dead yet...

"You're not fooling anyone!"
Well shit, I read that it had been confirmed Tom Petty was taken off life support and died today. If that's not the case, I really hope he pulls through.
Lets see, 5 favorite Petty tunes, in no particular order:

1. Don't Do Me Like That
2. Breakdown
3. Learning To Fly
4. Running Down A Dream
5. Mary Jane's Last Dance
I feel a little bad that I'm laughing at the dialog between you three up there ^^^^^.

Dead, not dead, movie quotes. Hahaha.

I'm so warped.

I like both MS's and Clang's lists.

I love the lyrics and music to "Free Fallin" too (and the video).

One of my favorite songs of his was one nobody else liked called "Hey Spike, what do you like?" Or something like that. Stupid little ditty about rednecks busting balls on a punk rock kid. But I dug it.

Its not bad.

Very stripped down blues rock. No frills, NO major chord changes...dont know why that one always struck me as so poignant but it did.
