HotD, I can hardly contain my excitement as I envision a myriad of ways you can pay me off when the Vikes throttle the Niners.

I'll keep you posted!

It will be wonderful to hear the sounds of football again!

I've been so hungup on what is going on with my team that I haven't really paid attention to what's going on around the league.

I just want to say that I think it's a crock of shit that Tom Brady's emails were released. I really cannot stand that crap. It's such an invasion of privacy and for the life of me I don't see how they relate to deflategate.
I frigging LOVE that Rex Ryan is the Bills coach. They aren't my team but I'm in their house so they are what I hear about. And with Ryan in charge it will never be boring.

Quote:Rex Ryan Offers Roster Spot to Anyone Who Punches Bill Belichick in the Dick

BUFFALO — Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan today said there is a roster spot waiting for any Patriots player who punches New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick “as hard as they can, square in the dick.”

The generous opportunity comes on the heels of Ryan signing IK Enemkpali one day after the backup linebacker broke the jaw of Jets quarterback Geno Smith with a punch and was released.

“I want all the players in the NFL to know that the Bills will offer you safe harbor if you kick the shit out of someone important from an organization that I hate,” Ryan said. “Your career won’t be over. Once you get released, I will snap you right up as an act of gratitude. I promise.”

Ryan said that while he’d prefer the person who punches Belichick in the dick to be a Patriots player who can offer some upside on the field with the Bills, he is willing to offer a roster spot to absolutely anyone who dick-punches his coaching nemesis.

“If you’re just some random guy who sees Belichick in the supermarket or whatever and has a chance to uppercut him right in the nuts, fire away, man,” said Ryan. “Do it. I’ll give you a roster spot even if you never played football in your life. I’m serious. In fact, I’ve never been more serious about anything.”
I forgot to add that this is a parody article from sports pickle and likely didn't happen. But Ryan says shit like this all the time and will be no different. I just thought it was really funny.
I believed it right up until you said it is a parody. I can totally see Rex saying that. I think he can be a laugh riot.

I'm starting to feel a little anxious. I have that nauseating feeling in my stomach. I love preseason. I hate preseason. I'm excited. I'm nervous. I'm thinking about injuries that haven't even happened yet. Ugh. I'm morphing into a psycho again. Russian

FQ2, we play you today! Love025

Meaningless game but it will be fun to see football again.

Do any of you understand Tebow-mania or whatever the hell it's called? He got standing ovations yesterday and his jersey is sold out in the Eagles pro-shop. For the life of me I just don't get the excitement he generates and I want to know what it is that I'm missing.
Halleluiah!!! God bless you.
Well, first of all, Tebow is a white guy, so right there he gets a ton of points.

However, he's never been very good IMO, so I'm with you and don't really understand the love affair with him.

I think it has a lot to do with his wholesome "god fearing" image. He does have a pretty good arm and the ability to make the other team add plays to the book when he's on the field, so as far as i'm concerned he's a great back up to our back up QB.
I think he's just a genuinely nice guy which is why ESPN became obsessed with him first go-round, and why there was such a backlash be a use people thought he was holier than thou or too good to be true. People mistrust someone who is too goody goody.
His arm looked pretty good yesterday. Better than Barkley who seems to only complete passes to the opposing team hah

I'm really lovin' my team this year. Not that I haven't in years past, my love doesn't sway but they all looked so damn good out there and that was without some of my starters. I was very happy & excited to watch them play and to see how well the new kids performed.

They are practicing with the Ravens twice this week before we play them on Saturday night. I wish I could go up and watch but no fans allowed. Bummer.

I'm definitely seeing some depth in areas we needed it. It's still way too early to tell, but as I was discussing with my buddy last night chipper put it all on the line. It will either be brilliant or a complete flop. I'm leaning towards brilliance, but I'm not completely sold yet. Cautiously optimistic.
There was a story today about the Seahawks getting hung up at the airport and unable to land.

Apparently somebody painted a goal line on the landing strip and they couldn't get across it in the air.
People like to criticize the decision to throw on that fateful 4th quarter play from the 1-yard line, but the call wasn't that bad in my opinion. The Patriot DB just made a helluva play.

Think about it, no one is expecting pass on 2nd down. Third down its a distinct possibility and the element of surprise is gone.

Carroll has as much admitted that he tried to catch NE off guard and it didn't work.

I know they have Marshawn Lynch, but running it in from the 1 isn't always a given.

It was a great Super Bowl between 2 teams I can't stand, but in spite of that, it had me riveted.

Agreed.

I know pre-season is meaningless BUT, WeWon, WeWon, WeWon! Again!

Baltimore sucks ass on every level. Whatta unprofessional, undisciplined group of men. Penalty after penalty and the dirty play continued the whole game. Fuckers.

As an aside - MS, your new stadium is in Madden 16. It's beautiful. I'm not a fan of an enclosed stadium but I certainly understand why you need one.
I just drove past the stadium about a week ago (it's right downtown) and it looks like a friggin' spaceship.

I think it'll look really great (inside) when it's ready for next season.

I'm planning on taking my 8 year old to the Vikes-Seahawks game on December 6th. This season will be our last chance for outdoor football around here for a long time.
