The Cards have never traveled well though. Vikings had a good game last night. Bridgewater did a good job in hitting the middle of the field when the Cards dialed up a blitz package. They also had some success with the crossing routes.

Good effort by my squad, minus 5 plays.

1. Fumble by Jarrius Wright in the red zone.

2. Botched reverse which turns into another fumble.

3. Teddy holding the ball way too long on final play, resulting in game-deciding fumble.

4. Xavier Rhodes dropping an INT that could have resulted in a pick-6.

5. Palmer's pass on their final FG drive that hits our DE in the helmet and miraculously bounces to an OL who not only catches it, but rumbles for a 1st down. (This one confirmed for me that we are the most snake-bit franchise in the history of the league).
It was the last play. He was trying to make something happen.

I get that, but we were already in (long) FG range.
Honestly I think you need to cut him some slack on that one MS. You wouldn't be bitching about it if he held it until someone got open and put the team in a position to tie it up or win. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.

I'm feeling nervous about Buffalo. Buffalo, for godssake. Ugh.

Woe. Woe is me.
The playoffs gives me the jitters. It only takes one game.

I don't have such lofty expectations this year but I really want to win my sucky division.
Buffalo isn't the trainwreck they were once upon a time. They're like Houston... just good enough to be dangerous. Solid run game, one super dangerous receiver, amazing defense. Houston won a few games with that formula back with Arian Foster and Andre Johnson.

Shady is gameday captain. Not that anyone didn't see THAT coming.

Will he be booed or cheered when he takes the field?

Shady's heart was broken with that trade.

Seeing him hugging Mr. Lurie wasn't unexpected but seeing him on his knees kissing the Eagles logo was. I felt sorry for him in that moment. I don't think he's over being traded and it might be awhile before he is.

I still love that guy as a person and a former Eagle. Probably the last current player jersey I ever bought. I won't buy them anymore. Only jersey I really want now is Concrete Chuck's Jersey.

I didn't know you wore glasses Cutz. hah
The Bills are paying that guy a hell of a lot of money and if he wants to act stupid maybe he can just return all those checks. He doesn't seem to have a problem with the logo on his pay stub. If I were them I'd bench his underperforming ass for insubordinate conduct. You don't shit where you eat. That's basic employment etiquette. You don't see tv stars slamming their current bosses in favor of their old jobs. It would be like Jimmy Fallon saying "This Tonight Show gig is crap compared to my days at SNL. I sure miss Lorne Michaels."

PS no grown man over 12 years old and not special should be wearing a shirt with another man's name on it. It's never a good look.
But Maaaaaaaaa! All the other guys do it!

What are they saying up there about Shady kissin' the ground he used to walk on? Are people offended?

I've liked Shady for a long time. His jersey & his autographed pix are some of my prized possessions but he's said some shit the past few weeks and months that are pretty sucky. He's not the first player to be traded and he won't be the last. I can even understand where his hard feelings are coming from but enough is enough. I'm thinking we may have heard the last of it after yesterday.

Somebody is pissed off about paying for his new Osweiler jersey after drinking the kool aide and watching him flop around on the field yesterday (like the rookie he is) against the Raiders.
@Duchess haven't really heard anything yet locally but if I were a fan I'd be pissed at Shady for being a dick. Buffalo is notoriously unforgiving to people who act like dicks, and this is the team that still has OJ on its wall of fame. You can kill the ever loving shit outta somebody, just don't disrespect the team.

@Blindgreed Nah, a stumble was to be expected sooner or later, the kid is young. But he is still a way better bet than the Papa John Delivery Guy. Meanwhile, I was watching a comedian who said any grown man who wears another grown man's name on his back should have to submit to surprise buttsex whenever the guy whose name he wears wants it. Because that's just like being a dude's prison bitch.

Not sure I'd go that far, but I sure as hell ain't putting some asshole's name on my shirt because he can throw/catch/run with a football.

Now I have a complex. What am I going to do with all my cool Eagles loot. I like my loot a lot, it's all over my office. I'm a grown woman for godssake.

You have to wonder if that comedian was wearing women's clothing when he said that then. I can't think of any men's clothing that doesn't have another man's name on the back of it. It's usually located in the area of the collar. Even T-shirts do.

Lucky bastage! You gonna wear your MeShawn jersey? With Washington's schedule, that may just be the NFCE tie breaker.
