I've always heard that there is no "standard" for grieving, it affects everyone differently so I am aware of that but I've never seen grief like this...public, over the top grieving, some of it is seriously bizarre.

Considering the amount of antics put on by this family, which apparently continue in the courtroom. I would not be too sure that the dearly departed son would be ashamed. The apple never falls too far from the tree in my opinion. From everything posted here, the kid apparently had an alligator mouth; hummingbird ass. In other words, he talked a big game and never could back it up. It would not surprise me that it was his "mouth" or the actions by his family that lead up to this crime.

I refuse to believe that the female victim or her family had any part in this horrific crime occuring.

i have a question for all of you. sometimes i feel like i'm mean and cruel to make fun of maytee. because i know if that happened to my son i could never recover. i might not be able to survive it. am i mean?
i hold her greatly responsible. i wonder if some of this is guilt. she's a criminal, so OK i don't like criminals. but i don't like being cruel either. sometimes i gleefully ridicule the voodoo shit or the lies and the carnival grave. other times i feel badly for her.
aside from all the reasons maytee is in dire need of intervention and mental help, she has got to get it together for the other children who are alive. they are suffering too i am sure. how can they begin to heal and go on with their lives with this kind of sickness? why doesn't someone step up and take control of this situation? a time does come when you take care of the living. this stuff is page after page day after day, a psychiatrist's wet dream:

I'm sure the other two feel like they don't matter. Somebody needs to slap her, hard.

She acts like she is the only one who has lost a child. Her remarks about nobody else caring about their deceased loved ones at the cemetery because they don't put trash on the graves showed her to be a complete egomaniac. Her posting of pics of Lisa that should have been kept private showed what a piece of trash she is.

She needs to grow the fuck up. Drug addicts have the emotional maturity of adolescents. She is a drug addict/drunk and it fucking shows.

I don't have any pity for her. She sucked it right out of me. I do have pity for the Straubs and for the two kids. What happened to them is terrible. What happened to Maytee was expected because she is a shitty mother. Expect bad things for the two youngest because they are stuck in the house with her 24/7.
