Thanks, Js. Figured "gettin' froggy" meant something like that by the context in which she used it, but never heard the term before in a non-sexual application.

Yeah, I agree with you and Duchess. If I was to go on a hunting trip, I'd consider my chances of succeeding being lessened were I to continually warn and threaten my target in advance, too.
