How fucking horrible! That poor child. I guess this was her karma for all she'd done to Johnny, family, and society. I hate to say that. Poor Johnny fell because of her shortcomings. I hurt for these kids very badly might I add. I don't know how she lives with herself? I honestly don't. Is she still lurking around?

Why would they do that? Maybe she and his dad were both imprisoned? If that were the case, though, wouldn't other family members take him in? I really wonder what could be so bad that a kid of SEVEN YEARS OLD would have ANY dealings with the court system?

My heart aches for Johnny sometimes. He seemed to have been a caring, loving boy. What would he have been like if he had been raised in a decent home? Would he have been on the other side of the badge? Would he have been an artist? So damn sad that we will never know.

I don't blame Johnny or Lisa. The blame lies elsewhere. They were two kids with plans. Her parents could have helped them make a decent life. But his old life just wouldn't go away...

Just because he was made a ward of the court doesn't mean that he wasn't with family. I believe that he was. He has a cousin that mentioned (on fb) about the time that her and Johnny lived with each other on the eastside of Toledo. And wished he had never moved away. That would be on Maytee's mother's side of the family. Oh, and btw, this same cousin is facing nasty criminal charges in another state. And this home invasion was committed a month after johnny and Lisa were murdered. Go figure.

Four Charges in Owatonna Home Invasion

The invasion happened early Tuesday morning, when four people stormed into a home carrying guns, knives and a baseball bat.

Six people were sleeping inside the home at the time, according to 5 EYEWITNESS News affiliate KAAL-TV. One man was beaten repeatedly with a baseball bat, then bound with duct tape.

The station reports the victims were acquaintances of the suspects.

Those suspects, Michael Schirmenr, Nicholas Pratt, Saray Morgan and Jacob Kubinski, face a total of 58 charges, ranging from first degree burglary to second degree assault.

Could that be an adoption record, LC, and not a ward of the court proceeding? Is Big John his biological dad?

but i should have been more clear, a ward of the court may mean court-supervision within the family for some reason. to protect his interests.

OWATONNA — Alleged home invader Saray Morgan is involved in yet another case in the Steele County court system, this time as the purported victim rather than the accused.

Morgan’s mother, Loretta De La Caridad Morgan, faces felony assault charges for an incident that occurred in September of last year. The altercation began on the evening of Sept. 9, 2010, at an address in the 100 block of West Pearl, where 19-year-old Saray Morgan was living with her 12-year-old brother. According to supplemental arrest reports, the woman worked as a truck driver. During her frequent absences, the pre-teen stayed with his older sister.

Loretta Morgan, 51, stopped by to drop off the boy’s bicycle, but the visit soon devolved into an argument between mother and daughter, according to court records. The boy told police that the two were fighting over the state of the apartment. As the tension escalated, the boy said his mother “went crazy” and began cursing in Spanish. Saray Morgan pushed her mother, at which point the older woman allegedly slapped the girl five times, seized a knife from the kitchen sink and pinned her daughter to the wall. She held the knife aloft until Saray Morgan pushed her away and ran out of the house.

The boy fled outside for fear that his mother would stab him. A neighbor called police after the child ran into the street screaming, “Help me.”

Much of his story was corroborated by Saray Morgan.

For her part, Loretta Morgan told police that the argument never got physical. She denied claims that she pulled a knife on her daughter.

Loretta Morgan faces five charges: Two counts of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, both felonies, and three misdemeanor charges of domestic assault. The judge also imposed a restraining order, barring the Austin woman from all contact with either child.

She pleaded not guilty to all in November of 2010.

The charges against her daughter are much more numerous. Saray Morgan is one of four people who have been implicated in a violent crime spree that occurred over the course of one night in early March. Saray Morgan, Jacob Tyler Kubinski, Nicholas Ray Pratt, and Michael James Schirmer allegedly used guns, knives and a baseball bat to attack six people sleeping in a residence on Rose Street, then robbed the alleged victims of electronics, cash and an array of other small goods. The four are also implicated in a burglary at a duplex on Chestnut Avenue the same night.

Saray Morgan remains in the Steele County Detention Center. Given the circumstances, Judge Joseph Bueltel lifted the restraining order against her mother. However, he refused to remove the restraining order in the case of her son, who is currently living in Austin.

Maytee and her two boyfriends with the sledgehammer comes to mind, how old would Johnny be when this event took place? Johnny did live with his Aunt and Uncle at some stage of his short life. There was some kind of strife during the Clarke marriage maybe Big John left and Maytee went crazy for awhile a feud with another woman may have taken place IMO. Reason for Johnny to live with Aunt & Uncle.
