I thought about that myself but Americans are stupid so she just might make it. Besides its way early or is it my imagination that Presidential primaries have started a lot earlier this year. There IS another entire year before any physical voting happens. This stuff is worse than Y2K.
My thinking is that a lot of us Independents are paying a good deal of attention to the candidates already, especially since there is no incumbent in the running.

By the time 2016 rolls around, I should have a good idea of where I'm leaning, though that's not to say that something major couldn't happen to make me swing my vote after that point.

More importantly, the donors and high-profile endorsers will definitely need to have tents pitched behind one candidate's camp by end of 2015, if not sooner.

So, I think Hillary absolutely needs to clear some shit up effectively in the next five months in order to make a strong presidential run. But, that's just my opinion.
The fat lady is singing to Hillary.
She's not looking as pretty to me because she's not differentiating herself enough from Obama. I don't hate Obama like some do but I also don't want another 4 years of the same....

She's in a shit spot. She can't totally dis him without getting back fire but there are those of us who also don't want 4 more years of the same old, same old Obama policies.

I agree with all of that. I'm talking about the e-mails though. Of course she'll come out of it without prison time, but someone is going down and she won't lose any sleep over it.
I think her run for president is toast now.

A lot can happen in 15 months. She'll get this out of the way and it'll be smooth sailing. As Maggot said, people have short memories. Go Hillary!

I don't think so. Even the flies don't want any part of this pile of shit.

I know how you like to get a reaction whenever you type that, but I also know you're not that stupid to support this woman. People are running away from her in droves. Why do you think that old coot that wants to turn the country socialist is drawing so much attention?
I don''t think Hillary is doomed at this point. But, she needs to open up soon and voluntarily address the issues/allegations swirling around her -- like the management of the charity's contributions and the private email server -- in order to maintain a comfortable lead and win the race, in my opinion.

I won't be surprised if there's not much meat on those accusatory bones and a lot of it is trumped-up bullshit. But, Hillary's unwillingness to address the accusations head-on leads me to believe that she either fancies herself above answering to voters (which rubs me way wrong), or that there's enough meat there to choke on. Either way, the longer she waits, the better Bernie looks to Independents who'd rather veer too far to the left than be left in the dark, or stretch a little too far to the right with a moderate Republican like Kasich.

I don't see where Hillary is sticking too close to Obama's policies though, I just see her trying to re-position herself as a true Democrat. Based on what she's laid out so far, she's pitching a more aggressive path to citizenship for immigrants and gender pay equality than did Obama. And, she's already said she thinks Russia and China are big threats to U.S. security and she would have handled them differently. As for the rest of her foreign policy plans and stances, I'm anxious to hear them. I'm anxious to hear them from all of the candidates in both parties, actually. Nobody is really going there, yet.
Bernie could get nominated. Democrat/Socialist is the same just spelled differently.

Hmmmmm..........what would be a good synonym for the Republicans?
I do think Hillary Clinton, of course, wants Obama's endorsement and needs to be strategic in differentiating herself from his policies while not alienating him.

If Biden throws his hat into the ring and Obama backs Joe, I believe Hillary's tone and approach will change dramatically.

I wonder if Biden will wait til just ahead of the first Democratic debate (October) to confirm or deny that he's running?

I'd like to think Joe is smarter than to attempt another run.

I listened to a discussion about just that subject last night and they all agreed that it most likely won't happen but you can never tell with Joe. People attempt things all the time even though they have previously failed.
It's a smart thing to wait until the last minute to get in the game. Joe must have some good advisors.

Especially with the Trump diversion.
Did you miss my point? hah

No I got what you were saying (last minute), I'm just saying that when Trump goes independent after he doesn't get the nomination it will divert a lot of votes (see Perot/Clinton/Bush election). With Sanders pulling ahead of Hillary, ole Joe might be ripe.
Like I've said before why would anyone want an entire year to be scrutinized and roasted over a fire pit when they could wait and get into the race later? Especially if you've already got name recognition.

I've never heard of Obama until he started beating Hillary. (talk about that willya) hah

I disagree with you that Democrats and Socialists are the same thing spelled differently.

I do, however, see a lot of Liberals embracing increasingly socialist policies.

As far as synonyms for Republicans, the most common one I see and hear from Liberal commenters is "fascists".

Republican/ Demagogue
Hillary was a terrible candidate in 2008, and an even worse campaigner... and she's proving to be the same so far in 2015. It's really like she didn't learn anything the last time.
I was wondering who the sacrificial lamb would be for Mrs. Clinton. I think she has been selected............Huma Abedin. I hope she's not stringy.
