End of July/beginning of August is when my local farms start selling.

I gave up ice cream a few years ago. I loved ice cream, still do and while I don't think I'm going to fall off the ice cream wagon, if I were to, it would be for this. 

It has to be Ben & Jerry's. They are woke and will name an ice cream after any woke issue. Of course as they count their money. They're not stupid.

Chia seeds are really good for you. They give me energy. I add them to my drinks when I am hiking. They are also fun added to lemonade drinks in the summer.

On the west side of the state I would wait until late fall for local corn. I just saw a note from one of the local farms that they have corn now.

I like corn with old bay seasoning steamed with crabs.

I like corn with black pepper and butter.
