What are the odds Crash can score canned Hatch chiles in OZ?

Suggest he grows some Anaheims and roasts them himself.

And grow the Big Jims . . . perfect for chili rellenos, too.
I don't have the patience for that. hah With 6 habeneros you'd need to de-vein them.

Bust that recipe loose woman. I have one for egg batter Chili rellenos but I'm looking for a different one.

I had chilli rellenos in Silver City not last year, year before. Saw billy the kid's house too. And a fucking big hole in the ground.
Last night officially kicked off the BBQ season for yours truly. Tenderloin steak with sauteed mushrooms, baked tater (of course, I'm an I-dee-hoan), and a spinach salad.

What the hell! You don't need anyone to make you a sammich, you do fine on your own. I, however, need someone to cook for me. I'm famished right now. Your salad looks divine. Seriously, I'm hungry enough to gnaw on your arm.
That's the same salad he posted last time that Cracker ragged on him about. His salads always stay the same apparently.
Yes, they do Sally...love my Spinach, bacon, egg, tomato and mushroom salad with honey dijon mustard. I know what I like, deal with it.

Oh thank gawd. My morning might be salvageable after all.
This evenings fare will be shared with my ever present GF and my Son in Law will be here tonight.
On the Menu a very nice Rib Eye Rare for everyone, Grilled Asparagus with Holandaise, grilled portobello , garden fresh salad and for desert, hand made Key Lime Pie, all prepared by yours truely.
Starter beverage will be a very nice Black IPA, I didn't make it but it is very good.
Wine with dinner will be a late harvest Zinfandel
That sounds killer. I love asparagus..and like you, defo prefer it with some type of sauce, as opposed to plain.

Yeah, a lot would call sauce on asparagus blasphemy.
Lightly blanched asparagus and Hollandaise sauce should get married.

Hollandaise sauce is awesome, it's good on every damn thing. If you can't manage to make it from scratch (which I'm sure your sorry ass can't) then just get the packages of Knor hollandaise sauce mix. It's pretty much the exact same thing and you don't have to worry about the sauce separating.
