I normally don't mind spiders, but I saw a spider at Disney world once that scared me pretty good. I walked out on the balcony and it came out of nowhere and flew on the chair. Just as I said what the bloody fuck is that the damn thing flew on the door handle. So then I'm stuck out on the balcony thinking up conspiracy theories that it's some kind of mutant spider Disney world created.

Finally the fucking thing flew away and I was able to go back inside. It was a good sized spider with white and black wings. I looked it up and the closest thing I could find is if you combined this moth with this spider except the spider was bigger than the picture shows.

That guy must have been sleeping because those critters are slow. If he had a gun he would be all set.
Guns don't kill people, Spiders kill people.

This is the latest gun safety PSA.

It's produced by Everytown USA and includes celebrities, gun violence survivors, and President Obama.

"We can end gun violence."

I think ending gun violence is a laudable goal, but not a realistic one. I don't think we can completely end violence of any kind, but we can and should invoke/enforce measures to minimize it as much as possible.

The video allows people to add their own voice at the end and spread the word. I imagine the anti gun control crowd will have some fun with that feature.
I wonder if a lot of the anti gun costs of advertising and pushing the agenda is from drug cartels and terrorists.

It's never going to stop and I don't see a time when it will even get better. The powers that be are not prepared to do what needs to be done to keep guns out of the hands of unstable people. There will never be a data base filled with the names of those who should never have access to a weapon. They won't do that and they won't enforce laws that are already on the books but they will pray for the dead and their families. That's the best they can do. Big fuckin' deal. 78

Everytown USA is Bloomberg-financed and a meshing of Mayors Against Illegal Guns, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America (MDA), and gun violence victims and survivors.

I highly doubt that El Chapo and Al-Baghdadi are undercover U.S. gun-control operatives funneling money into the cause.

But, hey, Donald Trump might latch on to such a claim and run with it. Smiley_emoticons_smile

Its gotta be true. If I remember right when Al Gore invented the internet that topic came up and was proven to be true.

Poor Al. He'll never live it down.

He said he was responsible for taking the initiative of creating the internet, and he was speaking in political terms at the time. That's not quite the same as claiming to have invented the technology. And, Gore really did contribute a lot to the advancement and promotion of the internet, for which he's been acknowledged by the man most commonly considered the inventor of it.

But, it was poor (or intentionally exaggerating?) wording which got a bit twisted with repetition and has made for some excellent mocking material for decades. It's right up there with Palin claiming to see Russia from her backyard and Quayle's "potatoe" guffaw.
Didn't Gore invent Global Warming too? Pretty talented guy
