Both Bush and Romney better not run. It would be like voting for Nancy Pelosi. I would rather see Herman Cain, Rand Paul or even Tim Kaine or maybe even Marco Rubio. Hillary has a chance but only if the next 2 yrs plays out bad for the Republican majority. Time will tell.

I read months ago that Hillary would declare before the first of the year.

Personally, I think it would be a tremendous waste of money for him to make an attempt but those who run probably don't give much thought to the cost and it matters not. I don't see people electing another Bush but stranger things have happened.

I'm driving to Sacramento in an hour -- taking my niece to see her favorite band at the Ace of Spades. Crossing my fingers that traffic is light and it doesn't start pouring again. 30

It would really be something else if we ended up with another Bush leading the country in two years. It could happen. If it does, you're gonna have to be more specific when you exclaim, "It's all Bush's fault!" Haha.

Are you bringing a little recorder and standing next to the speakers?
I'm actually here now -- in the bar far from the speakers, but sounds like I've got my ears up against them.

3 hours driving in rain through two bridge crashes. There are two cool places for food and drink on each side of this joint but no reentry policy! Freakin stuck.

My heads a bangin' but she's happy so, shoot, it's good anyways.
Be careful going back Missy!!!

She got a VIP pass for after-show, so it's gonna be a while.

I'll be careful. I'm tired and kicking back in the truck with the heater for a while. Thank you, Mister M.

So, Bradley Stone, the guy who shot his ex-wife and 5 of her relatives yesterday, was found dead in the woods today.

Self-inflicted gunshot wound is suspected. His body was found about a mile from his Pennsburg home.

These nuts know what they did was wrong sometimes its the best way for them and hoping he is alive so people can ask why and send them through the system and house them after is just stupid. I'm glad he offed himself. It saves a ton of money and lets the relatives grieve and not have to relive the tragedy.

Yeah, I agree there probably wasn't much to be learned from Stone and his surviving family members may be able to start healing more quickly with him dead. Plus, choosing to take his own life saved the taxpayers a lot of money in court and incarceration costs.

Some more info about Stone was just released: Stone had 3 DUIs over the last 15 years, had been in treatment for PTSD as a result of his 8 years and injuries suffered as a combat Marine in Iraq, and was fighting for custody of his 5 and 8 year old daughters when he decided to wipe out an entire family.

I think the judge made a good decision not putting his little girls in his care; obviously, the man was disturbed and dangerous. He should not have had a gun, but I bet the VMCA did not report the PTSD to NICS authorities and, therefore, he would have passed a background check. The gun-ownership part of the story hasn't been covered in the news I've read yet.

So, my precious daughters -- Merry Christmas, from dad: I killed your mom, your grandma, your great grandma, your aunt, your uncle, your cousin, and....your dad. Awful for his two daughters.

Stone himself was recently remarried and had a third small child.

Ref: http://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2014/12...bled-past/
I've been feeling terrible for those 2 little girls for the past couple of days. Probably because they're basically the same age as my two little ones.

I was encouraged by a co-worker who says there are really good people in this world and he's very confident that someone will step up, adopt them and hopefully give them a chance in life.

Brought a happy tear to my eye.
Huh... so the guy was remarried, but more interested in killing his ex and his inlaws than his current wife.

I was trying to read a little into it.

Sounds like he filed for custody of his 2 daughters just a week ago, but was denied. They'd been divorced for 5 years, but I think I read the mom was relapsing with some sort of addiction, so dad wanted the girls. The court denied him.

To take out her entire family, there obviously had to be some extreme animosity there, built up through the years.

Very ugly.

This is the dumbest thing I have ever read from your fingertips (and you make some incredibly stupid statements).

If your DR doesn't know you well enough, or trust you enough to prescribe a pain med when you need it, and you "tolerate" that for the sake of the abusers, you're a fool.

If you think laying down and giving up freedoms because of other peoples actions is ok, then you might as well give up the freedom to drive, to walk, to breath.

The Gov't can run your life for you, but some of us like to run our own lives.

Can we continue to deal with such assholes? Let's round them up and have a firing squad take care of these crazies. As i have said many times, i really have to stay off of Facebook. I hate people more every day.....

So you want to round up everyone that has a different opinion than yours, and shoot them, but yet you say your 'tolerant' of other peoples opinions?

The next time someone doesn't like your opinion, is it OK to put you in front of a firing squad?
Yeah, you want to make something out of it, genius! I will try to follow in your footsteps to be more brilliant.......I will stand up for my beliefs whether u like it or not, fuckface. I never have liked your posts but i was taught to be tolerant and not judge others. This is Mock and if you take every post literally, then guess what, you are the fool.....
There are some people on here who I really like and they make me laugh even though we have different belief systems. But you have never made me laugh or said anything i agree with........
I have fun on Facebook, because i enjoy provoking people but you don't even get that which validates my opinion of you. I don't like you and wouldn't like you in rl......
And yeah, we all have to jump through hoops now to get pain killers (controlled drugs) on the "list." The reason being of all the abuse of prescription drugs in this country. I choose not to discuss my doctors with you. It is none of your business.
I recommend that you take a class in "logic." I don't care what you fire back to me. Just take your illogical logic and stick it where the sun doesn't shine.....Bye now.....I so enjoy adversity.....
Blueberry, awesome work!

By the way, do you enjoy any of my posts?

I think my eyes might have bugged when I read her calling CG fuckface.

Yeah, MS, I sometimes think you make more sense than anyone on here. I don't like to make everything political, like the right wingers, and how their main response is to call all Liberals stupid. Oh, if it were only so simple. I am not 100% liberal. I do lean a little left, though, which to some simpletons, automatically makes me "stupid." I try to respect those responsible gun owners. My grandsons had guns and shot pheasant, etc when they were 13, my dad was a hunter, and on and on.....I like to have discussions, but some people just don't know how to do that. Here on Mock we are allowed, I know, but some people i just don't like and I do like you.....
Haha, Duchess!

It surprised me to read last night that he'd remarried and had another child.

He obviously had a lot of hate and bitterness that he was hanging onto. I don't think the reported PTSD explains that away.

A couple of corrections/clarifications to earlier reports:

-Stone died from self-inflicted stab wounds, not a gunshot wound.
-He was a US Marine for 8 years, but did only a brief tour in Iraq; colleagues described him as odd.
-He cut some of his victims with what's believed to have been a hatchet, along with shooting some of them.
- The 17 year-old nephew of his ex-wife is in serious but stable condition. He, Anthony Flick, is expected to live.
- The two daughters he'd abducted are safe in protective custody.

From the newly released warrant:

Nicole Stone Hill (the ex-wife) was shot in the face and head. Her mother Jo Anne Koder was shot and cut in the neck, and her grandmother Patricia Hill was shot in the arm and head. Stone Hill's sister Trish Flick was shot in the face and cut, brother-in-law Aaron Flick was shot in the head and hands; and 14-year-old niece Nina died of cutting wounds.

Autopsies were being conducted to determine official causes of death, the DA said.

The lone survivor is Stone Hill's 17-year-old nephew, Anthony Flick, who officials believe tried to fight off the attack. He suffered a "gaping skull fracture" and lacerations to his arms and fingers.

MS: I haven't seen anything about Nicole Hill being an addict, not that it would make her murder any less tragic. Do you have a link or is that gossip?

I wasn't saying that in response to comment to MS.
You made comment above about your eyes bugging out when i called someone a name. I should have quoted you, but sometimes I am just stupid. Sorry, it had nothing to do with MS.....

I can't recall if I read this in the Philly news or heard it reported by one of their stations but it was said the SWAT team found him on the 3rd floor, he had managed to get away and hid himself, he stayed hidden for several hours. Poor kid, he was trying to save his sister. I'll look around and see if I can find the video or the article this came from.
