When did the government stop leasing land that was leased for so many years before and what was the reason for not leasing unused land? Was it last year or the year before this started?
If you have information and want to make a case Maggot, post it up and we can go from there. It's not on me or anyone else to search out what it is you're alluding to.

Back of the line, mister. I've got first dibs on grenade launchers, ballistic missiles and an iPod sized personal nuclear weapons.
If I had a rocket launcher I'd make somebody pay.

I like Georgia's law and it will mean fuck not limited to one state. Yes, I want your assault rifles, high capacity magazines, armor piercing bullets (I might let u keep those)...but in general? I support the law and would love to see something at least close to that nationwide. I don't see it happening though.

Do you really want to see the next American revolution happen? That is what would happen if they tried to pull this shit across the entire country. It would be a blood bath. Yes I know the gov out guns us and yes I know we stand little to no chance of winning, but many are willing to die defending our rights.
A long time ago I posted a pic of me geared up and captioned it, My family is prepared to mourn, is yours?

I think you & your family are crazy if y'all are prepared to die because you'd have to give up your assault rifles, high capacity magazines and armor piercing bullets, like totally fuckin' bonkers. hah

Its not just my family Duch. There are thousands and thousands of others just like me. Its not just the gun its the principal in it.

ETA . . . If you don't believe that you need to open your eyes and do a little internet research. We are out there and we are everywhere. Hell there are cops, military etc that are stating they will disobey that order, will not shoot on Americans and in fact will turn their guns around and join us. We are everywhere Duch, in your state, my state, all states, in our towns and probably on our blocks.

You don't recall me recently saying just that to you when I said there would never be a time in America when citizens will be forced to give up their weapons? Huh? You act like not having access to armor piercing bullets is the end of life as you know it. If you and others are prepared to die because of something like that then knock yourself out. It's stupid, FU, no matter how you color it, it is a shit for brains act.
I think there were a bunch of people with F.U.'s mindset making the same claims back in 1994 when Bill Clinton actually did sign a bill into law that enacted several similar bans.

The ban was in effect for 10 years. It was constitutionally challenged and upheld. No Revolution ensued.

It was in place for 10 years, then it expired. Later attempts to pass similar national bans failed.
Just because we are willing to sacrifice our lives for our beliefs you call us shit for brains. So be it. End of conversation.

That ban was different HotD. It wasn't a ban on owning them. We had them , we kept them. hey didn't try to take them. What Georgia is proposing is a all out ban and confiscation. That is why I say if that is tried across the country and they think they can pull it off, MOLON LABE.
Yall take care, I have things to do and people to see. Keep your powder dry.

FU, it's the fact that you would rather die than not have the right to buy armor piercing bullets or high capacity magazines. I do not understand that at all, not even a little bit.

Maybe I was a little quick to use shit for brains. I'm prone to the occasional outburst.

I'm trying to understand where you're coming from, FU, I really am. I've known you for a long time now and consider you a friend. I take shit for brains back.

Yes, I understand that the Georgia bill is similar in the types of guns and ammo in the 'ban' category. But, it does go farther than the 1994 legislation and requires the relinquishment of banned guns and ammo. That's a major difference between the two, no doubt.

But, there was a similar reaction from pro-gun extremists back in 1994. They contended that there was a committed network which would come out of the woodwork from every city and town and all walks of life to fight to the death over what they perceived as a violation of their Constitutional rights. There were some individuals and self-proclaimed militias who did end up protesting, but the Revolution never came to pass.

Anyway, some people wanna take some of your guns and ammo, that's true. And, you don't want anyone to ever take any of your guns and ammo; "over your dead body" - I know your stance. But, no one has been able to get an even less-strict national ban like Bill Clinton's seriously considered in over a decade. And, the Georgia bill very likely won't be passed. Even if it does pass, it's the people of Georgia -- via their elected representatives-- who get to make that decision as to what arms the citizens there can bear. Their freedom of speech and freedom of choice trumps your fear of the slippery slope and contagion effect. I don't think MOLON LABE time is on the horizon in any event, F.U.

What has been taken away from you ( the general you)? How have things changed for the worst in the 10, 15 past 20 years? I'm really interested to know and I'm not being an asshole.

My taxes have gone up 4x the inflation rate. My money. And my right to be a part of the public education system. National parks sometimes put up signs requesting that I take no pictures at "scenic vistas" . Having to get a fishing license to go deep sea fishing.............all kinds of stuff. Its accumulative and not noticeable day to day but its encroaching as time goes by.
