Well it is really.

A debate is not a poker game “l'll see your high school massacre and raise you abortion!”

That may be your opinion and you are entitled to it. That is not how I see it though.

Uh just had a thought, that if it were me sitting at that desk and someone came barging in all home invasion style, In a mad hurry I'd probably pick up the eye phone and try and shoot it, stab them with a gun or throw the mouse at them... a la Larry, Curly and Mo

Too many fucking choices..

Hahahahaha, that made me LOL !!!

To me in this case there is only 1 choice and that would be the desert eagle. It is unholstered and all I would have to do is point and shoot.
I don't see abortions rights and gun rights as the same issue. To me, I think its better to get the abortion if thats what you think you need to do, its better that a kid be raised in a safe, secure caring environment rather than say shuffled off into the CPS system as a ward of the state, or raised in the hood with abuse and depravity. I think that while a person should be responsible for and take care of their own messes, thats simply not the way human societies work. People get addicted, people get stupid, people are fucked up, thats not the kind of people that raise kids to be decent adults, they are kind that raise them to be the same addicted, stupid fucked up adults. Thats means WE, the rest of us have to pay the freight for them, deal with them and defend ourselves from them. I don't like living that way, but thats where we are.
On the other hand once a kid is on the ground, I think they Should be protected and raised right. They should be protected from stupid parents, abusive parents and from the little bastards next door, not abused, raped or shot in the head.
So it seems that there is no magic bullet, multiple layers of issues will require multiple solutions.
Get the crazy fucks off the street and keep them off.
Pop the assholes on death row and be done with it.
Stop letting career criminals out.
Make all the jails like Joe Arpaio's jail
Educate people about gun safety, how often have you seen any kind of a public service message about gun safety? We have them about the dangers of smoking, drunk driving, drug abuse, pro life, pro choice....why not gun safety?.

Oh, and out of that lot I would also choose the Desert Eagle

You think? What the hell do you need all that on your desk for, are you involved with a Mexican drug cartel or something? And what are the brass knuckles for, is that in case an intruder just wants to have an old fashioned street fight?
Dayum FU. I wouldn't want to be the idiot that breaks into your house.

I think you might be wrong about that. I think a large majority of women who have abortions do it simply because they feel that it's not the right time to have a baby for whatever reason whether it be selfish or not and use it as a form of birth control, not because they wouldn't make a good mother otherwise. They are most likely the ones that would make a good mother.

No one thinks to themselves that they are going to be abusive so it's best to abort. The mind doesn't work that way. The ones that are truly fucked up and abusive are usually the ones that keep the pregnancy.

Awesome post & I think you're spot on.

Well, Its not normally on my desk like that. Usually it is on my person.

Everything that is in a holster is what I carry daily. 40 cal Springfield on my right hip and the extra 16 round magazine for it on my left hip, 410 derringer behind the back, 1903 colt on the ankle and one of the two knifes on my right side behind the springfield. The brass knucks are in my left front pocket.

The little revolver is something I carry from time to time to remind me of my father. He carried that little thing in his pocket for years. The large black unholstered pistol is a Desert Eagle and was only out because I just finished my deer hunting season and that was the handgun I used deer hunting this year.

To answer the what are the brass knuckles needed for question, I play by a different set of rules than most. I play it like this. If they want to play bare hands, I go that, If they want to go hard knucks, I go that. If they want to play blades, I can go there. If they want to get stupid and start a all out shootout, well I can do that also. I play at what ever level they want to take it to. Rarely does it ever go past hard knuckles, but I have ben cut before so I know how ugly it can get and how fast it can get there, so I never rule that out. Before anyone asks, Yes I have also ben shot before, but it was not in a fight. It was a hunting accident.

I know this post is opening myself up to a ton of, you are a wanna be tough guy that carries all that crap just to make yourself look big, comments. Let me just say, that is not the case. In fact, should you see me on the street or at the bar you cant even tell I am armed. I carry for protection, not intimidation.
Oh and before someone says, you hunt deer with a handgun, RiiiiiiiGT. Here is a pic I took sunday while in the woods hunting.
I take a lot of pics in hopes of getting that one in a million photo.

I like that little revolver, it's cute as a button. I'm not being funny either, it really is cute. Until I get shot with it anyway.
Heres a pic of it sally. Its a north american arms mini revolver.

You must carry that just to attract the women. If you brought that to the park with you it would be almost as good as a puppy.

I didn't mean to imply that some women, possibly a lot or even most don't use it as a form of birth control, I know for a fact that some do.
Most abusers probably don't think thats what they are doing either, but they do.
What I mean to say is It is no more right to force someone who made a mistake to have to pay for it for the next 18 years. They and many more have made the same mistake and the number of people that pay for it gets bigger every iteration.

Jesus Christ! Even John fucking Rambo would consider that overkill! Do you live in Gotham city? You know Batman has a batarang and some gadgets that's all he seems to need!

Seriously though you must live in a crime ridden hellhole to justify carrying a small arsenal around with you every day? Even if I lived in a hole in the ground after a worldwide zombie apocalypse I wouldn't carry that much hardware aroumd with me every day.

Jesus.

Brass knucks to me at least are used by two groups of people only, gangsters and thugs.

I could justify carrying a gun (one gun thanks) more than I could justify carrying brass knucks. A gun can save your life, if I'm out with a hoody on with the hood up and I turn around and George Zimmerman is following me I would hope I was carrying a gun to save my life.

Brass knucks are just nasty, nothing to with protection and everything to do with hurting someone. Punching someone with brass knucks is more nasty to me anyway.

Oh right, I thought you were trying to be profound or something silly me.

As far as abortion is concerned there are laws as opposed to some completely undefined moral ambiguity about something I know nothing about.
