I think Obama would look good on "Dancing with the Stars" hah

Make an amusement park.

Now I know why the instructions included "amusement park" as things that have been done in the past (that and zoo). I was trying to be different. Signs_173

Maybe the airport could have a children's play area, lol.
Do you ever look down and think "you're disgusting. you have no value, and you make me hate you. you're not good at anything, you aren't good WITH anything, and generally speaking...you're pretty empty."

...and then eat the doughnut anyway?
This is a signature I saw on a neighboring county's message board:

My potentially-a-pedophile Uncle is coming to visit us for 3 days starting tomorrow. 21
Potentially a paedophile?!

WTF?

i would respectfully submit that this is a topic for the private area since it clearly is a worry for you.

Thanks LC. I may post the whole story in the private area. Long story but there's no real evidence that he's a pedophile but he made a COMPLETELY inappropriate comment to my nephew last year (caused a big family blow-up). Absent hard evidence to the contrary, we're somewhat giving him the benefit of the doubt that he's just a fucking idiot and socially inept. But even if that's the case, it's obvious why I'm not looking forward to having him around for 3 days. 52

Meh, everyone has a pedophile uncle.

Say what you will about pedophiles but at least they drive past schools and playgrounds slow.

That suuuuuucks. Hide a baby monitor in your son's room.

I hate having company I don't want. Is he at least staying in a hotel?

I wish. Signs_173 He's visiting in conjunction with a conference and told us in advance that he wanted to visit but then, last week, put out an "itinerary" (to about 50 people, why???) which showed him staying at our house for 3 freaking nights.

My kids totally know what happened with my nephew. I'm pretty sure if he even looks at them cross-eyed, I'll hear about it.

Guess where he's from...

He sounds effen rude for assuming he was staying with you without actually asking (unless you extended the actual invitation). He has now chosen sides for you with the family situation. He sent the itinerary to let everyone know you are on his side. Total douchebag move.

Good time to burn dinner again. hahaha

Ohio, that's the "icing on the frosting" (expression I picked up from a redneck drunk in a bar).

It'll be OK. Make your husband entertain him. That's what husbands are for. Tell him right now he is going fishing one evening, showing him around his work another evening, and playing cards with him the last night. You go ahead and make plans for you and the kids for the middle night so it isn't three days of misery. (Or just suck it up and hope he gets sick and has to stay home...)

Sorry, chica. You can vent to us when you feel like stabbing him in the eye with a fork.
Just watched a movie with one of the 25 best lines.."You're gonna need a bigger boat"

Freaking time out thing again. Yes, I basically told my husband he's on.
