Other refuges for the bewildered seem to have fallen into disuse - cya, madchatters, yourhomeforum are all dead and buried as far as I can see.

Didn't a large contingent of FG members join 24 shortly after it opened it's doors? I think FG had shut down for a time then and none of them had a "home" on the net so they migrated like roaches to 24.

That's about the time I stopped frequenting as much and I rarely even go there now.

He was still doing the sponsored forums vs the member owned version of the site.

I don't recall FG shutting down, but there are always unhappy members looking for somewhere less restrictive. Their mods run the place like their own private playground, making up new rules so they can infract members, leading to eventual banning.

One person commented on Baldi's forum as having too many word games for her taste. True but FG is easily just as bad.

Mock might be small, but it's got all those others beat.
