Did anyone watch HLN with George's brother? Out on the courthouse lawn? He demanded the charges be dropped immediately. Oh, and he came out of the closet. He is now a proud openly gay man.

You're dense. How many times does someone need to point out to you that in Z's own statement he said he and Martin were facing each other? Huh?

Just saw the clip.

The Zimmerman family should really muzzle Jr. Russian

He asked the State of Florida to withdraw charges against George? Why?

Well, because when he, Jr., courageously came out as gay (about which he goes on and on), George was his staunchest advocate.

Oh, and also (yet again), because since the Sanford police didn't arrest George right away, the charges must be invalid and only politically-driven (despite the warrant and standard legal documents supporting the charges).

That's not my quote, smart one.

Seems there are a ton of dense ones out there.

Not sure if that statement helps me or not.

If it was someone else's false quote then why do you feel the need to keep repeating it as if it's truth?

Now I see what they were talking about with you over here in the crime forum, you are one annoying son of a gun.
I hope that everything that both did that night from morning till the incident is layed on the table for the jury to sort with the lawyers help. If the blacks cannot grasp the legal system so be it. And to hell with any backlash. That is for others to attend.

Sally, I think there are others around the country that believe T either got Z with his back turned or otherwise sucker-punched him.

Again, if it comes to light that Z started/instigated the physical altercation, and then proceeded to get his ass handed to him, he really had no right to pull his weapon. He should be convicted.

I dont think it will really matter how this turns out Maggot. Remember the OJ case? Win, lose or draw there was/is going to be riots. I just hope people are prepared to deal with it this time. Lock your doors, cover your windows and update your insurance because there will be repercussions from this case.

I disagree. Everyone anticipated major riots after the BART officer who shot Oscar Grant was only convicted of involuntary manslaughter, and while there was a riot, it was pretty minor IIRC.

I think this has already faded from the public consciousness as some major race issue. If Zimmerman isn't convicted of 2nd degree murder as charged, there will be some loud complaints/maybe small riots but it won't be big like the Rodney King riots. I don't know why I know this but I do.
I hope you are right User.
One thing for sure, Zimmerman will always be looking over his shoulder. That's some degree of justice.
Al Sharpton et al have seemingly moved on. It won't be a big race thing.

Zimmerman Defense Fund Out Of Money

on 29 May 2013.

There are 12 days until jury selection begins in the Zimmerman Case. With less than two weeks left before trial, the defense is without funds to properly prepare the case. There is less than $5,000 in the trust account, we have more than $20,000 in liabilities, and we’ll need even more to get through trial. In the last two months we’ve received a little over $26,000 in donations -- a sizable sum, but less than half of what we needed.

Everyone on the defense team has made sacrifices in our fight to prove George’s innocence. Mr. O’Mara and Mr. West have not been paid a cent for their services; many interns work diligently for no money; some staffers work for far less than they deserve. Meanwhile, the State of Florida has spared no expense in it’s prosecution of George Zimmerman.

In the days ahead, we need to spend thousands of dollars on transcripts of crucial depositions. We need to pay experts and provide them accommodations during the time they may be needed at trial. We’ve contributed all we can, and now we need to ask, hopefully for the last time, for your help.

We never expected the support we have received. Although we’ve only publicly asked for help a handful of times, there has rarely been a day where at least one donation hasn’t trickled in. For those who have supported us, you have our sincerest gratitude.

We’ve calculated that we need another $120,000 to give George the defense he deserves. At the barest minimum, we need $75,000 to give George a fighting chance. Had we declared indigency, George’s defense would end up costing Florida taxpayers more than $1,000,000. As it stands now, with a little extra support, we’re going to get through trial for less than half that figure, and we’ll have done it, not with tax-payer funds, but with the money generously donated by people from across the country who believe George is innocent and that he is being wrongly prosecuted.

If you believe that George acted properly in self-defense; if you feel he is being wrongly prosecuted; if you feel that George deserves a fair trial, please consider sending one last donation. Even the smallest donations of $5.00 and $10.00 are significant when multiplied by the thousands who contribute.

We hope that on the eve of trial, in our time of greatest need, many of those who have supported us will support us again, and that many of those who have considered supporting us will do so now. One way or another, the defense is committed to getting George to a not-guilty verdict, but it sure will be easier with your help.
I think I will paypal them the cost of the cap zimmerman put in trayvons ass.

HaHaFuckinHa! Tough shit. Let lardass do what every other person with no resources does. Fuck him.

I'm delighted to read that.
I'm tapped out from donating to the "Jodi is innocent" fund.

Wondering if the weight gain is going to help him in court.

He looked pretty fit and trim when he shot Trayvon Martin.

Now, he doesn't look like he could move around too quickly or like someone who could hold his own against a spry 17 year old.

As odd as it seems, a drastic change in ones appearance does seem to sometimes benefit defendants.
These are the drugs that Zimmerman was on the night he shot and killed Trayvon :

Temazepan - tranquilizer/barbiturate - to treat insomnia
Adderal - amphetamine/simulant - to treat adult attention deficit disorder
Librax - tranquilizer/barbiturate - to treat irritable bowel syndrome
Omeprazole - to treat gastric ulcers

~note - the medical clinic where George went, that prescribed his drugs, specializes in weight loss.
It is a weight loss clinic, and adderal can be taken for weight loss~
So he was off his tits on tranquilizers, amphetamines and barbiturates on the night of the shooting and they have the nerve to try and demonize Trayvon for smoking some weed?

Arrrggghhh!

You mean the jury will feel sorry for him because he's turned into a porker?

Seriously?

Killing Trayvon doesn't seem to have affected his fucking appetite that's for sure.
