If Trayvon would have said, "My dad lives here" that would have been it. He didn't need to run away or hit the guy. And he did hit him. And bad shit happened after that. How can that escape you? Is it okay for people to just knock the fuck out of each other? WTF?

Hell, if Martin just kept walking that would have been the end of it.

A few pages back I tried to point out the same thing essentially, that at some point Martin became the aggressor and Zimmerman was in self defense. The ONLY evidence of a physical confrontation points to Martin instigating it.

Those who want Zimmerman locked up don't give a shit. As far as they are concerned, Zimmerman deserved to be having his ass beaten and should have just taken it, even if Martin was going to knock him unconscious.

Jesus, the guy just didn't want his neighborhood to be crime infested. He had no intention of killing anyone, and if Martin hadn't started the physical confrontation this never would have happened.

So next the comments will be 'Zimmerman shouldn't have followed him'... Which is basically saying the criminals win, and you shouldn't bother keeping an eye on your neighborhoods anymore. Just call the police and hope they give a shit enough to come check it out before someone gets robbed, raped, or murdered.

I mean holy shit, the police were on scene in Cheshire and sat on their asses while Dr. Petit's family was raped, burned, and murdered.

That boy should have been at home and in school, not at his dad's house riding out a suspension.

His mom should maybe worry more about that.

Once again, this has nothing to do with race. Should a teen have the right to walk around freely without some guy chasing after him (whispering to the police while he did it)? George was the aggressor. Again, if you stalk someone and they fear for their own safety, I have no problem with them popping you in the mouth.
