I couldn't agree more. Trial by media and public opinion does not work due to the bias of the person reporting the story. The facts need to be laid out. The only clear fact I know is that Zimmerman shot and killed Trayvon Martin. Whether he murdered him or killed him in self-defense is up to a jury to decide. The sad fact is that Trayvon is just as dead either way. Sharpton's calling for "economic sanctions" and "civil disobedience" is just another way to justify rioting (and rioting will break out at some point IMO).

Any excuse to riot sends a shiver of joy through certain communities. Free televisions and booze with cheez wiz are surely dancing above their heads as they await the word "Go" from the most reverent Al sharpton. Wally world will become the playground of those poor vandals that society has created.

I read the same thing. The specialist got a match on only 40% of voice characteristics. If it were Zimmerman's voice crying for help, the specialist would have expected around a 90% match. You can hear the cries for help very clearly in the background of the witness 911 call. Sounds like a kid, to me.

Wah, I know, sounds harsh. This TED talk made me think. Not so much about telling/hearing lies all the time, but the part about disdain. If you are only the occasional victim of someone else's foolishness, you get angry and can have words with each other and it is still an even playing ground. All the ..911.. callers now believe the person who cried for help is the one who ended up dead; the parents of Zimmerman and Trayvon are each convinced that it was their son screaming for help.

Zimmerman was taken to the Sanford police department in handcuffs. A time stamp on the precinct security camera video shows Zimmerman got to the police station at 7:52 p.m. An officer patted him down at that time.

The video shows no obvious sign of injury or blood stains on his clothes....the shooting took place only 37 minutes before he arrived at the police station....he should have shown signs of his injuries as he (zimmerman) and not been to the hospital or cleaned up prior to the police video tapes of his arrival

Why is your "ABC NEWS EXCLUSIVE" chyron covering up the back of George Zimmerman's head in the police surveillance video of him arriving at the police station soon after Trayvon Martin was killed in Sanford, Florida? There is a big controversy out there as to whether Zimmerman actually did suffer certain injuries including a bruise to the back of his head during the fight with Martin. You would think ABC News would allow an unobstructed view of the back of Zimmerman's head. Instead the head was covered for much of the time by a completely redundant chyron since there was already an unobtrusive ABC News label in the lower right of the screen.

If you watch the video you can see the officer on the left look at the back of Zimmermans head for several seconds (it's about 48-55 seconds into the video).

there is a PDF at this link of the police report that night. the responding officer says zimmerman was checked/cleared by EMTs at the scene before going in his cruiser.

Flashback to my video editing days ... a "chyron" generally means the superimposed text on screen. It refers to the Chyron brand, sort of like how a Xerox generally means a copy.

This is a good observation, because timing is everything. All the rumors that he went to the hospital "bloody and battered". How he was "cleaned up" before he went to the PD. So when he did arrive at the hospital, HOW LONG after he was released did he go?

If he was "cleared" by the EMS, they did not see an “OBVIOUS” signs of a broken nose, or head trauma. If they did he would have been taken immediately to the hospital. Curious what the EMS report states!!??

WOW, IF YOU READ the description of the event that took place it states “Homicide-negligent manslaughter-unnecessary killing”! IMO if this is what the office is describing as the event that took place, then why was he not charged? Curious about how this was blacked out, notice some of the answers were left. Like the height of one person, then the weight of the other on the first page.
