I am the real George Zimmerman,
On Sunday February 26^th, I was involved in a life altering event which led me to become the subject of intense media coverage. As a result of the incident and subsequent media coverage, I have been forced to leave my home, my school, my employer, my family and ultimately, my entire life. This website's sole purpose is to ensure my supporters they are receiving my full attention without any intermediaries.

It has come to my attention that some persons and/or entities have been collecting funds, thinly veiled as my “Defense Fund” or "Legal Fund". I cannot attest to the validity of these other websites as I have not received any funds collected, intended to support my family and I through this trying, tragic time.

I have created a Paypal account solely linked on this website as I would like to provide an avenue to thank my supporters personally and ensure that any funds provided are used only for living expenses and legal defense, in lieu of my forced inability to maintain employment. I will also personally, maintain accountability of all funds received. I reassure you, every donation is appreciated.

just now zimmerman's lawyers are holding a presser and announcing they have withdrawn as his counsel. they say they cannot even contact him. more details as i get them.

The two attorneys who have been representing George Zimmerman announced at a press conference moments ago that they are withdrawing as his legal counsel.

"On Sunday we lost track of George, in that he would not return our calls," attorney Hal Uhrig said. Said attorney Craig Sonner, "I've lost contact with him at this point."
They say Zimmerman has not returned phone calls in the last couple of days, has set up his own website to accept donations for legal counsel, and also told State Attorney Angela Corey's office that the attorneys were not his lawyers, just advisers.They said that against their advice, Zimmerman contacted the special prosecutor who will decide if he should face charges.


Sonner said Z. set up that website w/o his approval, and that the money is for Z. not the lawyers, he doesn't want anything to do with those donated funds.

Both attorneys said they'd be willing to represent him again if he asks.

Ben Crump, an attorney for Martin's family, said they're concerned that Zimmerman could be a flight risk if he is charged with a crime since his now-former attorneys don't know how to contact him.

Next up the state's attorney. We should know something in 72 hours. Maybe Friday.

Uhrig was acting kind of rabid, imo. I think that Sonner and Uhrig were probably reaching out to Zimmerman.

what the 2 lawyers did bordered on the unethical. they came out and discussed Z's mental state, practically called him a nutcase, said he was barely functioning, said he wasn't in florida, has PTSD, on and on. when even that slimy repulsive lying snake jose baez says you're unethical you have sunk to new depths of depravity. they essentially forced the special prosecutor's hand. whether to fish or cut bait, yes we will know soon. but they sent the message Z is a loose cannon and a flight risk. they violated attny.-client confidence in the worst way, despite saying they thought he was innocent.
i have never seen a pair of lawyers throw their client under the bus like that. all they had to do was release a statement they no longer represented Z. and that is it. instead they babbled for 48 minutes. blah blah blah. it was a train wreck. Z. ought to complain to the Fla. Bar.

i want to know why the new black pansies haven't been charged for putting a bounty on Z, soliciting murder for $10,000.

He may be safer spending his life in solitary confinement away from the danger of other prisoners.

i wouldn't be shocked if she refuses to charge him after all this BS. she was backed into a corner and pressured big time.

I heard we will know within 3 hours as to what they are charging Zimmerman with. He will be charged though according to CNN.
