I hate that... an appointment time should mean that is the time YOU SERVICE ME. It shouldn't be the time I have to show up and wait.

Doctors are the worst offenders.

Being on time is a pet peeve of mine. I'm always on time, always & I expect the same from others. Silly me.
Just saw the Stanley cup go by with the two local LA Kings players riding along with it.
^^^^ Cool!

I am feeling nappy....afternoon slump.....who took my 5 Hour Energy?
Afternoon naps should be considered appropriate work behavior as far as i'm concerned.
Agreed Jez! Naps are wasted on kids. They should be reserved for us old folks that need them once in a while.
Unloaded 2 hay wagons yesterday (100 bales each, on to a conveyor belt which transfers them to the hay loft). That was a first for me.

MN State Fair begins today (marks the unofficial end of summer). It's a pretty well known event.

I got new furniture yesterday. After using it for an extended period, I'm not sure I'm crazy about it. When I sit down, I sink into the back of it, almost like I'm being suckes in. :/

Do you live on a farm, or were you playing ranch hand for the day?

Just wait until you really break it in. They might not find your body for days.

My brother-in-law has a farm. Crops and dairy. Golfed in the morning, and played farm-hand in the afternoon. Pretty contrasting activities.

Indeed... but that's good work. Did you use bale hooks? Makes it easier...

I guess the Baler in effect 'ties' the bale together with baling wire. I grabbed those to toss them. No pitchforks involved. hah

I think he's talking about a couple of these, MS.

Yep. Sounds like he didn't need them anyway... just a pair of gloves and raw manly muscle.

We used to get hay delivered by the tractor trailer load & the guys who unloaded it used them. They made it look easy when I know damn well it isn't. I can move a bale of hay but there's nothing graceful about it, the guys move it like it's the freakin' ballet.

There be a way to put the two together if we really try.

Some sort of reality show?

If we could somehow include scantily clad women/hookers we'd probably have an instant hit.

I'll work on it.
Why bother with the golf/farm-hand stuff? It's just distracting the viewers from the scantily clad women/hookers anyway.

We're looking for a plot/story line right?

This would certainly be something different.

Something along the lines of 'Who Would Suck Worse' at switching professions?

Golfers running a farm, or putting farmers on the PGA Tour?

Very, very interesting, with limitless possibilities. I see TV ratings through the roof as you tune in to see Tiger Woods drive the combine and grind feed. Phil Mickelson hooks up the cows to the milking machine. Who WOULDN'T want to see that I ask?

Aha! Here's the connection. After a tough day doing chores, Tiger hops in his private jet to Vegas for 3-ways with $15K/night hookers.

Brilliant!
