Hey that thing goes up 20 ft! Some people get nosebleeds. Plus its wooden so termites could be eating lunch at any given moment.

I think it'd be great if a person had a 5% chance of being killed or maimed every time they got on a ride at an amusement park.

Certainly would separate the real thrill-seekers from the pussies.

So, how would you categorize your willingness to play the high-stakes game of RollerCoasterofDeath?
lol, I love the idea.

Good luck Maggot, hope it's a fun one.

MS is full of it. He can't even ride roller coasters anymore; gets all scared and dizzy and stuff. Smiley_emoticons_smile

Many great thrills don't include a risk of death (necessarily).

Yeah, but what if the prize for riding the RollerCoasterofDeath (and living) was an evening (I'm talking at least 8 FULL hours) with HotD??

Hell YES, I'd take that risk!

Your wish would be my command (unless it's asking me to leave. That doesn't count).

hah
Maybe you have a death wish, MS.

Survive the death-coaster, spend the night with me, and then arrive home to your wife's serious "I'm gonna kill you!" look.

So, my wish would be listening to records and going out for great food and drinks if you survive round one; safe. I kinda like having you around. Awink

Me too. I love rollercoasters. Haven't been on one since high school but I'd welcome the opportunity to ride one again.

The whole 'married' thing really throws a wrinkle in my attempts to seduce you.

I feel like I'm unable to give it everything I've got.

That ^^^ and the 1600 miles between us.

What if I end up in SF on business sometime?

Hmmmm....

I was talking about the rollercoaster of death, dear. Normal rollercoasters are too... normal Smiley_emoticons_wink

It would be fun to meet up for food and drinks if you were in town. While I don't wanna be married myself, I consider married men "off limits" - other than as platonic friends. So, still no thrill ride involved.

That married thing's gonna getcha every time Mr. MS...

Hey, if you post your NFL picks before Sunday, I'll compare them with my friend's and my nephew's picks when I see them this weekend - they both bet football.

I'm interested in seeing them as well.

MS, do you think RG3 is the holy grail for the 'Skins?

In the words of Pat Benatar, you're a 'dream maker, love taker'.

Why you messin' around with me?

I'll try to get them up this weekend.

Hopefully everyone will makes tons 'o' cash from my poor picks.

I'm not sure about RG3.

But, and I'm letting the cat out of the bag a little early here, I DO think Cam Newton is the Shiznit.

I've got Carolina winning their division this year!

My ass is draggin'. Yawn
Someones stupid fucking cats are fighting in my back yard. I'm going out there with a rake if they don't knock it the fuck off.
Cats love the hose.

Orange County CA. Upscale Magazine

For those who have not figured it out, the name of the pub is Orange County WHERE, not Orange County WHORE, as media watcher Jim Romenesko delightfully observed this morning.

Anyone else feel sorry for the lovely lass on the cover?

"Mom, I booked my first cover!"

Then it hits the stands.

"No, mom, I'm not turning tricks next to Disneyland."

OC Where's editor tweeted apologetically today that the "image placement was inadvertent," but since the company does not want to "offend," a replacement issue is being printed.

That's hilarious. My boy had a yearbook a couple years agoe where some poor kid made the unfortunate decision to wear an American Eagle shirt on picture day, one of those ones with the big giant letters "A.EAG" But then the photo was trimmed and cut off the bottom of the letter "E"" and the poor kid probably made a hard right into permanent nicknameville.

and on the fifth day~~~he's still dead.

Thousands of mourners gathered yesterday at the start of a ten-day wake for their self-proclaimed 'messiah', Sun Myung Moon.

The leader of the controversial Moonie cult, who died on Monday at 92, lay in a glass-covered coffin at the headquarters of his Unification Church in South Korea.

Only senior church members and specially invited mourners were allowed to view the body
