We only discovered yesterday that he was 18. He's been telling her that he's 15 (which is still too old for a 13 y/o) but we were sort of waiting it out while we tried to figure out who the hell he was.

The police said there wasn't much they could do at this point except take a report. If she'd actually sent him a pic, it might have been a different story but thankfully she didn't. However, the police officer called his cell phone number and when he answered, identified himself and asked if he was the person texting my daughter. He immediately hung up but hopefully that put the fear of God in to him. My daughter texted him a "good bye" message and they both blocked each other on FB.

I think it's over. Stressful couple of weeks.

She was pretty dramatic. I'm trying to put it off to her youth and being flattered but I'm a little concerned about her self-esteem/dating criteria. Although she told me when this first started that she was "not seducible" and one time he got her mad and she called him a douche and told him she thought she could take him in a fist fight so she's no weeping willow.

My husband was on fire but we have too much to lose. That said the guy told my daughter he was scared of my husband. He has good reason. 20 years of rugby and the last 8 years martial arts and boxing...he's not a bespectacled old man by any means. Smiley_emoticons_slash

My best guy friend moved today. Not very far, about 35-45 minutes but still, it'll be hard not seeing him all the time. I'm melancholy.
